PocketCM .17 Pops up for new sms

So PocketCM .17 is working really well. Actually the first version that I may use for a while!

However, I use Birdsoft eXtreme Text for texting and when I get a new text message PocketCM opens up to the active screen. How do I stop it from doing that??

hey man find the .zip of the theme your using in pcm open it find settings.ini open it with a text editor and find or add this line

bring_pcm_to_front_on_sms=1

change the 1 to a 0 and it shouldn't come up anymore

PERFECTO. I am just using the stock Black.zip theme that came with PCM. The line you mentioned was not in the settings.ini so I simply just copied and pasted it then copied back to device and soft reset. No more PCM popping up!

Thanks a bunch!

I had to place that line in the Touch zip also, wasn't in the ini file yet. Did a soft reset but still keeps poping up... very annoying!

And another problem. I just added a contact, but it doens't show up in my contact list when I use PocketCM, when sending sms via WM6 and I start typing the contacts name, it appears, so it seems to be in there, just not showing in PCM...

did you restart pcm after you added the contact it doesn't load new contact right some times until you close the program and then reopen it
