There have been several complaints on other boards, including Palm's boards, that homebrew apps were removed and will not reinstall.

Non taken. But if we have two thread over the same subject it makes it harder to search for issues that arise. Plus cludders up the forum.

if it takes over an hour to download/install such a small update as this.. what will happen on the next 1.x or x.00 release for that matter?? Im actually hoping/expecting palm to announce at ces that the next update will be 2.0 and it will have video recording, the gpu unlocked, flash and maybe/hopefully access to some voice control features and/or apps maybe?? I'm thinking this is there big news and this update was to lay the groundwork for the gpu as the last one laid the groundwork for video recording and the previous did the same for flash support..

I'm wondering if the "app limit" fix is part of what's making the update take so long. It's creating a new partition within the media partition without deleting your existing data and then it moves all of your apps from the var partition to the new partition.

Did anyone experience any slow down with this update? My device is slow to respond to clicks now.

I'm installing the update now, I'll let you know.

Edit: Mine is also slow. Hopefully it's because it's moving apps to the media partition.
