Re: WeatherPanel Freaks: PhatPhinger - a "stylus-free" QVGA theme

Hi,
First off, I enjoy this app so much that I've uninstalled Grumps Iphone theme from my Vogue so I can have a Today screen again.... Big Ups to you sir.

Now heres my ONLY problem with it, I know for a fact my city has traffic cams, and the sites are working, but they dont show up on my images/radar tab. I do however get (in radar tab 1) a very plain radar look (really basic dopler) anyway to get a more up-to-date radar and my traffic cams to work?

Are you manually inputting the url information into WeatherPanel from the local traffic cams?

Yes...that's the only way to get new images to WeatherPanel. Get the url of the cameras you want and enter them into WP the following way:

1. Go to settings in WP.
2. Select your city and tap edit.
3. Tap on "Weather Images"
4. Tap on "Add New"
5. In the URL box enter the url of the camera.
6. In the Name box enter the name you want for this image (e.g., Highway 240, etc.)
7. Select the purge time.
8. Close and refresh WP and you're good to go.

let us know if you have any further questions.

Coz

hey, thanks, I just wanted both, I couldn't settle for just one theme and with some help from coz, and some playing around, it became pretty easy one thing left though, is the red "!" in top left corner, shows up with alert can't figure out how to get rid of it. can't even find the image in any of the folders...

URL is http://www.dotd.louisiana.gov/press/...?camera=160017 purge after 1 hour. and i go to weather panel, click "update"
go to the tab and i get no image. Any solutions?

Try this address:
http://pub2.camera.trafficland.com/i...0d861871f48ebe

All of it doesn't appear, so right click and select 'copy shortcut' for the full address.
