First, 2.1 or 2.5?

Second, and let me see if I can explain this without confusion. Get all the original manila files for the slider icons. If you are gathering those by what the image looks like, you have to ensure you get the right ones. There are 3 images for each icon that look identical, but 2 of them are slightly bigger than the other one. Make sense? If you have a clean version of manila and look at all the images you will find, for example, 3 images of say the 'messages' that look identical. 2 of them are slightly larger than the other one. The actual image for the slider is the samller one. Now use the smaller one as your template to ensure your new image is exactly positioned left/right/up/down. I also found out that they look better if you make your new images about 8-10 pixels smaller than the original. Hint: Once you have the original slider image file, autocrop it to see exactly how big it is.

Mode9 fix for re-centering just re-maps the image by way of coordinates. 2.1 was a PITA because I could not lock down the mapping 100%. No matter what I tried, the image was jumping all over the place. That is why the image appears lower than original, hence why I say make your new image about 8-10 pixels smaller.

Attached you will find a zip with 3 images. Named respectedly, look at them and you will see what I am referring to. The images are the email images. Since you are using GIMP, open up the 'email_original' then 'open as layers' the other 2 and you will see the positioning and size differences. If you need more info or help, hollar at me.

Well, when the problem was reported to me, it was on 2.5 both times. I haven't had any issues with it on 2.1 at all. I even cut the image size in half once, and it still did what it wanted with it on 2.5 with the transparent slider. Which was to blow it up and cut it off. I already know the images vary slightly in size. I have layed them on top of one another before and am aware of the multiple files that look alike, as well for the slider.

Anyhow, I'll play with 2.5 sliders some more when I get a chance. However, the issue only shows, with a transparent slider. Nobody with a colored tab has had the issue that I know of.

I'm having a problem with 2.1 Sense ROM. The slider bar will not go transparent have to installed both cabs just to have the tab transparent. And when I just install the transparent tab cab I get. It works but doubling of icon where the tab is.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but I searched and couldn't find it, does this work on 6.5.3 roms? (Been using Mighty's Love Rom cause it rocks) and really love this slider, just not sure if it works and doesn't break anything else??? Please let me know, thanks again Chuckz!

It doesn't matter what version of windows. Only which manila. It worked fine on the older manila (1921), but I have not tried it on the new landscape manila (1922). My guess is yes because I am using santod's black & white slider that he made for 1921, but it works great on new 1922. Don't know for sure, but it can always be uninstalled if it isn't compatable. Report back what you find. I am quite enjoying mighty's impact too!
