NEW TELENAV Sprint Navigation

1 Attachment(s)
this is the updated telenav navigation v5.5.24 for the Touch Pro 2 which will replace stock sprint navigation. you should have your 4 digit pin # before installing telenav or it wont let you complete installation. for those of you who dont know how to get your pin #, open sprint navigation, more, about and my account info. enjoy

as long as you know the pin # and u have a data plan then yeah it should work on custom roms with no problem

Anytime I've tried Telenav and not Sprint Nav, it expires in a few days to at most a few weeks. It all works the same, but I would LOVE it if Telenav could be used with a Sprint Nav account with no timeout. The graphics are MUCH crisper and it seems a bit more touch friendly. Any info?

install the telenav cab then after you soft reset, delete the sprint nav folder and the shortcut link in startmenu/ programs and enjoy. there will not be any timeouts or whatever.

Re: NEW TELENAV Sprint Navigation

they'll SMS your pin to you at http://signin.telenav.com/tnsso/sso/remindPin.do

just enter your phone number. seems like it is by default the last 4 of your phone number.

Re: NEW TELENAV Sprint Navigation

your pin is usually the last 4 of your phone number

ok here is what you do for fixing the tab with touchflo3d. copy all files from telenav and overwrite the files in the sprintnav folder. also rename the telenav.exe to SprintNav.exe. IF you deleted the original sprintnav folder then rename the telenav folder to SprintNav and also rename the telenav.exe file to SprintNav.exe

The FIX works.. just a question.. since this isnt the SPRINT NAV, are there going to be additional charges? I have the EVERYTHING plan that includes the NAV, so will this work without extra charges???

you will not get charged extra because telenav is the provider for the sprintnav app. look at it as same program different look...

Re: NEW TELENAV Sprint Navigation

for some reason, my account is now showing as expired and it is prompting me to call telenav. I'm definitely on an Everything plan w/ Sprint. Telenav is telling me to call Sprint, Sprint is telling me to reinstall and do an Update Profile (which I can't since I'm on MightyROM). This situation sucks!!!! The updated software works awesomely when your account works. Guess I have to wait for the Official 6.5 Sprint Update before I can get this resolved. :(

This might be a stupid question but what is the difference between SPRINT navigation and TELENAV navigation! Someone please help me on this one!

Re: NEW TELENAV Sprint Navigation

I'm getting the account expired message upon launch of TeleNav. I called TeleNav and they tell me to go to Sprint for support with this. I call Sprint and they tell me to go to TeleNav.

This is BS.

Try reinstalling SprintNav so it goes through the first run where you put in your email address and name. Get the pin and then install the TeleNav app and use the same information.

When I flashed my BB Tour to leaked OS 5.0 these were the steps to install a working TeleNav applicaiton. For that one I had to download the TeleNav app for Bell (Canada).

Re: NEW TELENAV Sprint Navigation

When I install and run TeleNav, it doesn't even ask for a pin. All it asks for is phone number, first name, last name and email address.

after you enter that info it should take you to another screen asking for your pin

After I enter that info., it pops up that account expired message w/ no option to go further.

do you still have the original sprint nav on your phone? if so, are you able to use it without the whole "expired" problem? if so then cut and paste all telenav files to sprint nav folder overwriting everything and rename the telenav.exe to sprintnav.exe and you should be alright.

Definitely reinstall SprintNav and run it first. Best thing to do is to rename the file folder to sprintnav2 and keep it on your device. Then rename the Telenav folder to sprintnav and telenav.exe to sprintnav.exe so it works with touchflo.

Only other thing to do is to check your plan to make sure sprintnav is still included. As long as you have logged into the official sprintnav application recently, telenav should start working with your device.

That worked. I install SprintNav first, ran it and made sure it was working. After installing it I install TeleNav, copied the files from the TeleNav folder into the Windows folder. Then I renamed SprintNav.exe to SprintNav1.exe, renamed TeleNav.exe to SprintNav.exe and it's all working fine now.
