Unless there are any other critical crashes or bugs that need to be fixed. I'll be working on 6.5.1 compatibility now (version 0.1.2a). This is one reason the SDK has been slightly delayed.

Anyone want to recommend a 6.5.1 ROM? I have a Touch Pro, and Touch Pro 2 and a Vogue I can do this with, so anything will be fine. I just parused through the upgrades sections for all three phones but all I see are build numbers.

28193 = greek to me. :p

Whats wrong with placing the friendly version next to those build numbers? (i.e. Build 21840 (WM 6.5.1))

Regardless, any suggestions are welcome, and please PM me, don't post any recommendations in the thread. Thanks.

Here are a few bugs. Concerning the MyPix plugin... I'm looking at the first image in the all folders view and I hit the left arrow, so now I'm looking at the last image. If I hit the right arrow the first and subsequent images do not appear. I need to hit the left arrow a few times, past the last image. Then I can go back and see the images from the beginning. When I do that though the last image doesn't appear, it gets skipped over.

Although the plugin is nice I don't think it's pratical. If you have lots of images it takes too long to go through them all. Maybe using a scrolling thumbnail grid would be better.

A few times when I tried to run the Weather Bug program I received an out of memory error. It doesn't happen all the time though.

Also a few times the Calendar and Pix plugins just disappeared and I needed to stop and restart Touch One. Also, I'm not sure if this is a bug or just the way you set it up, but if I stop then retart Touch One I have to re-enter my weather location. Not that big of a deal, just a minor annoyance. I'm running the Sprint stock 6.1 ROM.

Okay its working with your latest tweak. When trying to change the wallpaper it lists the names of all files which is quite a few on my card. I cant remember all those names. Thumbnails would be easier to browse through. Thanks again! Edit:landscape view when sliding out the keyboard would be a plus.

Click on this Calk's kitchen link in my sig. He has a 6.5.1 ROM on the first page of the thread. It's build 23071. A few builds old, he's working on a new one right now, but it's 6.5.1 and very stable.

I will be revamping the wallpaper changing dialog.

Landscape is one feature I will be adding in 0.2a, it was the 2nd most voted on feature in the feature poll thread.

installed it on my HTC HD, works like a charm, I can't wait till I'm able to customize it by adding my own program shortcuts, screen and widgets.

However I still have an Out of Memory problem so I can't try the program.
I was able to count my programs (links) under \Windows\Start menu and they are 602... :-\"

I know I'm a bit exagerated, however there is nothing to do for us "power" user? :-|

I've got the same problem as described in this post :

but before crashing, two message windows are shown with the text "Spanish and English only supported at this time." (one of the messages is from TouchOne, the second from MyPix).

I think i've got a czech ROM, but not really sure about that (bought the device in czech rep, but the system is in english, including directory names)

Doesn't work again. This time I am with Don Salari's v4.6 ROM and it is 6.5 not 6.5.1. I got only the notifications about the language and after that an Error message. Sorry. I want to try your beautiful work.

Yes, both power and obsessive 8). The truth is I'm very curious about your application, and really hope to contribute to improve it, thanks to don't forget me (and the other users like me)

UPDATE...
So... I tried it over the weekend. I really liked the looks. I changed the home screen and updated it with my own graffic. I like the weather in the main screeen. I like the stock clock.
I was unable to customize the other screens however... I couln't drag shortcust or change the background. So... basically. I have a home screen, a soso calendar, a series of programs screens, and a few screens that appear to be unuseable.
I like the program and will continue to download the updates as they come out. Your program has legs and should be one to watch.

ok, so i'll be adding support for all languages. sepoira: what languages or localization are you running on?

I did test Touch One with 6.5.1, and i have a fix in mind to get that fix in. ill be releasing another build tonight with these changes. including suppport for up to 1,000 apps. after that you are on your own. lol.

im going to delay the sdk a few more days, because of these changes.

i dont want developers to be stuck re-writing widgets and plugins because of changes i am making.

About plugin implementation, I hope it will be possible to write them using the free Sharpdevelop IDE (do you know it?), or other free environment, a part the Visual Studio ones.
I use a lot of mortscripts but would like to transform them in "real" applications :)

Yes, I have used sharpdevelop, back in 2001 when the developer first made it. Quite humble in those days. ICSharpCode. :-)
If it can compile VB.net or C# smart device (ARMv4) binaries you should be fine.

Minor update. Added Swedish and Czech, also put in an artificial limit at 300 application icons, until i get a new workaround for allowing more than that.

I will have more time to work on it through the week.

Unfortunately, it still doesn't work for me. The English/Spanish language only message is gone, but the program still crashes with the following error:

I tried last version, again Out Of Memory error just after installing.
Made a softreset and many messages about english, swedish languages appeared, however at the end I had the error pages I attach.

Moreover, a lot of icons are no more visible even for other programs. :angry7:

Uninstalled the program, made a sof reset and my icons are again back \\:D/

I'm sure you'll be able to correct everything :)

I have this installed on my vzw touch pro 2 and it works great. I am just wondering how to add plugins and customize the screens. I love the weather clock but will we beable to have animated weather on the home screen with this? Thanks for your hard work

What does the error message say? What language is your phone? English / UK English? Are you running on a custom rom? I'll be adding international support for all WinMo Flavors tonight. Check back then ;-) It should run e-mazing on your snapdragon. *jealous look*
The error message is: Spanish,English'Czech and Swedish only supported at this time.
My Thosiba TG01 is bought from orange Romania, but phone language is english, not romanian, I think is UK english.
What do we have to do with that, I realy like your app.:thumbright: and I want it so much on my phone, I'l be very glad if you could add these languages to the app.

My update tonight will make it compatible with all languages, so that will be a thing of the past. ;)

Update. International support. Now supports all languages / localizations.

Sorry to complain. Installed on Sprint HTC TP2 - gets bogged down on calendar page, won't swipe away from it. Also, calendar icon on bottom of home screen says 24? (It's the 11th.) It does go to the 11th when I tap on the icon.

Also looking forward to being able to rearrange program icons.

Addition to above - problem seems to start when you've viewed a day by clicking on the date in the calendar screen - once I've done that, I get the color wheel, and nothing seems right after that. Additional question - circles around calendar dates - are they supposed to be when you have appointments? But there isn't one for today, which does have an appointment on it.

Takes soft reset to fix this, which of course loses the weather zipcode.

very interesting app. I have just one suggestion for the moment. Toshiba TG01 doesnt have hardware buttons for pick and end calls. is there any chance to implement on home screen a button for call key, just like the one on Sense UI on android?

Cant you use the Phone icon for pulling up your phone?

The home screen is merely a plugin just like the calendar and MyPix. I know they need alot added to them, but before we start making e-mazing widgets and plugins we have to get the actual application itself running great.

I'll take your comments into consideration when I start working on the plugins again.

Right now I'm trying to get the SDK out the door for plugins, and I am implementing re-araanging widgets / plugins and app shortcuts.

Working nicely on my Vogue. Have to open audio or something to get to windows icon. Other than that nice. Will you be allowing rearranging of apps? And to confirm, as of now, we have 1 blank screen between today and pix, or at least that is what I have. I look forward to this. Transitions are very nice, smooth and not lagging.
Usion Vinnie's 23504 rom 6.5.1. This is a great rom to try the new win beta out on.

Yes , the phone icon is working great, I will test your app. next days and let you know if something goes wrong. Of course it needs more widgets, I'l be pacient.

edit: any modification I'm making - changing wallpaper, weather setting ... it wont save, if I'm restarting my phone all the setings I've just made are gone (back to default).

looks very responsive with the youtube video.
I have a touch pro, I haven't read through the threads to see if it'll work on it, but by the time everything is stable I may have a tp2
