My apologies. Thanks for the help. Not sure what the original problem was but knowing me I probably change too many things at a time and screwed it all up. I am back to normal and I will do an export settings before I screw with anymore settings.

I just can't stop tinkering with things. Drives my wife nuts. hahaha

No problem, here to help when its needed.
Just letting you know that the manual may answer a lot of your questions.
If not, feel free to ask away.
Have fun with it and as long as you have your clean export of what you like, you can always revert back if you mess it up. :)

Sounds like a bad import from the Beta to me.

I wish. This was a fresh flash & manual config. I'm gonna repeat this on my test unit & install CHT & CHTE only...and give it another test.

***I'm getting "ghost links"***

Glad I'm not the only one...see, I'm NOT crazy. Oh wait. NM. :toothy10:

Should definitely be fixed, as I personally went through much trouble to see to it. *** This should be a one time occurance at best and resolve itself once you remove them.
You can also try deleting your icon cache.

Sweet! A one-timer is alright (Ovechkin-like).

I won't deny that there have been a few isolated cases that I have seen so far, but as I said, just at first setup. Not again after that.
For me, I could not reproduce it anymore after several changes went into fixing this issue.

Try setting up your quicklinks first.
Then Freelinks if you have any.

Should be all. :)
Let me know if not, or if so. Either way.

Unfortunately, when I tap the "ghost link" to delete it, it acts as if the link is already empty - thus the term "ghost".

How do I go about clearing the icon cache? I'll attempt that next.

CHTS has the option built in, to clear the icon cache.

flashed Vin's Nov.13.10.Pluto_NO_CHT_28244 & cabbed up CHT & CHTE. Loaded up quicklinks, applied extra wide wp, and so far, so good. No jumping, etc. Btw, I haven't used freelinks.

I then installed CHTS, and still, everything's good.

I recall jumping happening when I running OperaMini, but for now, I'm going to let it be & see if the issues replicates. In a couple days, I'll install mini & see what happens.

Flashed latest NRG 28244 CHT 2.0 final and my missed call icon or notification bar will not clear after I look at the call history, I have to restart sense to clear it. I noticed in the change log this was listed as fixed. I have searched but don't see any other reports of this. I just got set up like I want so I hate to default. Anything else I can try?

Edit: well it happen twice and has not happen since. Maybe a fluke.

hmm I uninstalled and then soft reset (twice) and it will not install. says Installationwas unsuccessful. The program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions.

???

I am just about ready to hard reset but hard resetting is a serious PAIN :-)

Presuming you've uninstalled CHT/E/S, I'd just hard reset & start fresh. I don't know enough to debug this; I checked xda a little bit & nothing, but didn't finish reading (sick as a dawg).

GL...
