Okay so was the windows music player slide option taken out of the home screen animations?? I was really liking that feature. Any way to enable it or set it to show when sliding again?

It's still there its just turned off. You can just add it to any of the home screens you want. Just go to edit home layout the you can press and hold to add items then just select music player at the bottom.

Sorry for the "Noob" question, but I've searched and could not find
the instructions.

How would I disable the Weather animation on the Home Screen?

As I recall, the previous versions allowed this.

What i did was add the weather toggle switch to the quick links then shut it off. then you can remove the quick link.

Click on an empty quicklink, click Toggle Switch, and it's the first Icon called "Weather Toggle" once that's entered into the Quick Link you will see it's got the green switch ON, click it, and it will turn off...

Known issues and fixes:
Text color option does not set the color to all text -> download the fix here - extract the manila file to \windows (overwrite existing file) and restart sense
Lock quick link will not lock the default lockscreen -> download the fix here - extract the manila file to \windows (overwrite existing file) and restart sense
VGA all tabs wallpaper problem and HQ wallpaper slowdown ->

Here is the wallpaper fix for VGA: copy to windows and restart sense.

It will fix the all tabs wallpaper getting stretched after unlocking.

It might also correct VGA issues with HQ speed. Although I'm not 100% sure about this. I haven't heard anyone with WVGA complain about this so I'm treating it as a VGA issue for now. HQ should be a little slower, but not at all noticeable.
Although, the quality difference between HQ and regular shouldn't be as large on VGA due to the smaller screen resolution (regular wallpaper mode quality is dependent on resolution - the bigger the resolution it is the worse the image quality).
