Several CHT 1.71 Analogue Clocks

5 Attachment(s)
Thought I would share some of the clocks I use,

The First one credit for the original clock face goes to gfandrea from XDA,
I altered it to my liking (made it a bit transparant and black) and also added my own hands.

The Second I created from scratch "Carbon Doughnut" :

THe Third pictured "Windows Clock V2" here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...0&postcount=34

The Fourth I was inspired by a Tokyo Flash watch called Rogue (PNGS and a Cab attached):

Gold Rolex by request on page 3 post 25 here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...0&postcount=25

GMT Master II here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...9&postcount=35

Michael Kors Watch as requested here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...4&postcount=47

Re: Couple of CHT Clocks

On my TP2 for Sprint,Im using the MIGHTYROM!! I dislike the auto rotation. Is there a cab file to disable it???

wesscoggin 04-29-2010 01:39 PM

Re: Couple of CHT Clocks

Lol, I would imagine you would get a better response (as in more responses and more informed responses) in the mighty rom thread because that is what the mightyrom thread is for............ supporting mightyrom.

Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro2 (Sprint): Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35267; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))

Is there anyway that these can be made into a CAB File? And if so, would they be uninstallable if I choose to revert back to the original clock?

Re: Couple of CHT Clocks

Windows Clock and Rogue Clock Cabs Attached in the OP. (because that is what I am running at the moment)
It will return to the default analog clock if removed by uninstalling.

how to install to add to list of options??
Looks nice!!
thx

Re: Couple of CHT Clocks

the cabs attached will install two of them for you,
the zip files for the other two contain pngs that you can convert with CFC-GUI and export to your device found over at XDA-Dev.

Maybe you could ask the OP in this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=118392

He has more experience photochopping pics of real watches and the final product would probably come out much nicer.

Re: Couple of CHT Clocks

Several of us have made that request to sebo and there has been no response.

Thank you.

the biggest straight on pic you can find. I can resize it to fit the smaller size after I'm done editing.

If you will go here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...=118392&page=5 and look at post 47 these may be what you are looking for.

If you click on the thumbnail and then right click on that image, you get as nice a picture as I can find.

I hope these will work!

Thank you very much for your effort!

this work for you?
I've attached the PNGS if you would like to mix and match with other hands, and a cab that you can uninstall and restore your default CHT analogue clock...

EDIT: Cab now does not have compressed manila files and should work with ROMs that are not CFC compressed.

Re: A Few CHT Clocks

they should work on any version of windows with manila 2.5 and cht 1.7.x

edit: your rom might not be cfc compressed....

Re: Couple of CHT Clocks

Can you please verify the CAB of this works. I installed it, rebooted and did not show a clock, just a small square. I see that the file size of the .CAB at 38K is nearly half the size of another other clock file.

Edit: Looks like there is some sort of problem becasue the white box I reported is because I have a White AM/PM setting. The previous poster having the black box must have had a Black AM/PM setting. I installed our Gold GMTII with no problems and am running CHT 1.7.1 by the way, and also the Rogue.

Edit: Wes can I also make a suggestion that the Program File name represents the acutal clock name. I installed Rogue, and was looking for WesRogue in the program list and finally found it listed as Clock.

I installed the cab to verify. It works for me. I am using Energy Rom that is CFC compressed. That's probably the problem. Let me know what ROM you are using and if it's cfccompressed.

Point taken on the File vs. Install name. I'll keep it more consistant in the future as well as revise the previous clocks.

Re: Couple of CHT Clocks

Running Mighty ROM Special Edition which I belive is Uncompressed.

I installed the Gold GMT with no problems. Was that put together to run on uncompressed?

EDIT: To be honest, I don't really understand what the compressed vs. uncompressed means or affects besides storage space.

Love the work!
