Was never crazy about either of those two Max Manila clock faces, but nice job on the first one man! Keep it up. :)
The AM/PM will be able to be made black or white and 8 shades of grey in between, as of todays update to CHT!
Then you can remove the white boxes.

Today's update to CHT? I just checked the tread and there's nothing new since 1.7.0. Or are you saying that something new is coming today? I know you and Cookie talk, so are you saying that I should hold off on flashing my phone again?

Re: "real" cookie clocks

these clocks look amazing, especially the first one. I have been trying for some time now on how to download them and get them to display on my phone. I have sprint 6.5 stock, and cht. I downloaded the zip file used Total commander to unzip an then dumped that into the windows folder. I still dont have that clock to choose from, just the originals that come with cht 1.7. Do you have any advise or step by step of what to do, to get these clocks installed?

It's out now, have you checked the thread at the top of this forum, or the one at XDA?
It's posted in both. :)

If you get really bored could you make one like this to match my real watch? That would be cool. If not, no big deal.

Thanks

Hello 1980! lol

I figured the bigger the pic the better/cleaner it would look once re-sized. I could be wrong though!

OK I've never been able to figure out just HOW to install a custom clock. I've installed cookie hometab as well as CHTEditor but can't figure out how to switch to that awesome swiss clock. I've tried searching the forums and can't find anything.

there just files that look like you just drop into windows, use total commander to do this and overwrite when asked. i would turn sense off first and softreset after files are dropped into windows. heres tc if you need it.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...77470&page=275 post 2749 by santod has good instructions.

OK Thanks I'll try it....think i will turn off sense and rename the files in windows first in case I don't like the setup.... hhhmmmmm maybe a good idea for an app to automate the process???

It's actually not too difficult.
With cabs it's even easier, but then you get what's packed into the cab.
Whereas doing like I've done supplying individual files, you can mix and match faces and hands as you please.

If the skinners can do all the work to make these, you guys should be able to copy a file from one folder to another.
On another note, an automated process has been discussed.
I've also attached the original hands in my clock thread, and seeing how I made the original clock, I will attach that there as well.
Then you can always revert back.

I've also found MaxTTM 4.1 will do this as well.
Just don't use it for it's other features, except to skin the top and bottom bars, along with BG4all.

wrong place i know lol,but what font are you using and where can it be obtained, the ones i have that are cursive all are cutoff in areas due to the size of the font itself, but those look all nice and small and like they will do a good job compared to the ones i have and cant stand to use lol

Sebo, what rom is that? I like the phone text and mail notifications in the middle of the screen. Or is there a cab for that?

Re: "real" cookie clocks

i can make installers, but figured it's simple to copy over the files to /windows directory and you can mix/match different hands this way too.

the file name:

20F62884_manila - clock
0AB9C3F4_manila - hour hand
4BDFBA48_manila - minute hand
2A87D392_manila - second hand
7126E342_manila - center clock dot

i put up a wall clock for a friend of mine since he wanted something blue, made with larger hands with center black/white dot (found in first post at the bottom)..

Those are all features of CHT which the clocks are made for. You just have to configure it that way

added it to first post.. i switched up the hands a bit since it's only certain dimensions supported, but i used the same hour and minute hand and sized them accordingly, also had to modify the face a tad.. your watch didn't have a second hand, now it does ;)

Looks great. If you could pm me with the info on how to do this I would appreciate it. I own many watches, this is my fav though. I have been looking to start a hdwall thread. Adding clocks to it wouldn't hurt.

Great work! Definitely going to have to rock the Movado! Although i wouldn't mind having my watch if you are taking requests.

Sebo, is the AM/PM indicator supposed to change on your Swiss Watch face???

Mine did not change.

Any Thoughts?

Thanks

Awesome work, they are amazing. Any way to convince you to add a Black Rolex Submariner? As classic of a watch as they come and besides an Omega the only thing Bond would rock on his Tp2!

I believe that is a known bug with cookies home tab. Mine is working though.

there shouldn't be an issue with pm/am since i am not replacing those.

just added two new watches based on badb4c's stainless silver nixon.

black chrome indigo red and gunmetal red

best that could be done with the provided image.. actually had to up size the clock to 256 pixels..

Sebo,

OK, I'm not bright enough to understand what you meant with "I'm not replacing those."

Does that mean that the AM/PM indicators on the watch face will not change???

Thanks

sebo 04-20-2010 03:20 AM

Re: "real" cookie clocks

^^

it's suppose to change on all the clocks. what i meant was i'm only providing the clock faces and hands which shouldn't affect the changing of am/pm..

are you running cookies 1.7.1 ? i think there was a problem with clock not updating on 1.7. but i am still running 1.7 and im not experiencing the problem you're having. the am/pm seems to be shifting correctly for others as well.

might want to post in the cookie thread on xda if you're experiencing problems.
