i like it thanks boushh will be keeping for now

minor critiques:

1)When i slide the bar down slow, it goes past the screen. IMHO i think it would look more polised if it unlocked right when the bottom touches the bottom of the screen and none of it goes off the screen.

2)My last lock screen was a dusk one which had a bar where if you held it down it changed colors or in a sense brightened up(do you get what I'm saying? kind of like your start button icon on your pc) but yeah its not a criticism but just a suggestion im throwing your way in case you might consider it bc i thought it was cool

as per your critiques -
1) Yes, it is currently set up to where you have to drag it "off screen" which I tend to like because IMO, you pull the lock screen off of the page, but I'll look around and see if I can find that setting and play around with it to see which I like better in the long run.

2) Yes, I fully understand what you mean by that and agree, it could be very cool thing to implement, thanks for the suggestion and I'll see what I can do regarding that.

update:
I get what you mean about the dragging off screen part. It's actually starting to grow on me. Dont think my way would work unless you put the lock bar higher up maybe.

After some more extensive usage there are 2 problems I am having

1) the text preview is pretty nifty feature i didnt have on my other lock screen. the problem though is the text is tiny and not enough is shown

2) after receiving a text there is no separate icon that leads me straight to see the text message. the previous one i had i clicked the lock screen which then made another tinier text msg icon box appear which i could then slide and go directly to the message. i don't mean to constantly compare this and that but it's all I have and that's what you base criticisms and critiques on.

Any way to change the start menu text from white to black? I did some searching and couldn't find anything (and it seems others are looking for it too)...

when using this lockscreen, the alarm does not work. it worked fine after i uninstalled it. installing g-alarm fixes the problem

i cant for the life of me get the notification to show the actual txt msg the way its shown on the 1st post was wondering if there's something i'm missing?

Thanks for noticing that! I never use alarms but can confirm after testing that it will not allow the sound to play from an alarm. It will turn the screen on but that's it (which isn't very helpful). Are you saying that installing g-alarm fixes the issue while having the lockscreen installed?

The actual text message (or email) will only show up if there is only one new notification. For example if you have 1 new email, one missed call, and one new SMS it will show the other way. Also, if you tap on the screen it will remove the notification (for a minute) and show the text slide to unlock, then about 10 seconds later the notification will come back up. I hope this helps.

yes, installing g-alarm allows alarms to work with the lockscreen, as g-alarm works differently than the standard alarm.

i think the only requirement is wm 6.5 or up aka not 4 wm6.1. but dont think sense/manila matter (could be wrong)
