The picture on the left is a full screen shot of the lockscreen and the the picture on the right is of the 3 different views of the lockscreen (0 notifications, 1 notification and multiple notifications). The lockscreen slides down to the bottom (hence the arrows pointing down) on this lockscreen. No the Verizon isn't embedded, it will show your own carrier. Does that help make sense to you?

Any way to make the lockscreen wallpaper different than the "start menu" wallpaper?

Not that I know of. Maybe with some manila editing, but I personally like having the two screens the same. You can change the lockscreen wallpaper (which of course changes the start menu wallpaper), but I'm sure you're aware of that.

Ultimately I'd like to have the lock screen be the white NRG GTX theme, but then I can't see the white font of the start menu screen. Was hoping they could be different...

What Version of NRG's GTX ROM are you using? I'm still on the 4/1 version and I can see they keys on the start menu just fine (it's casting a shadow that makes it very easy to read). DID you install any of the fixes that he posted? Also, he has a new 4/6 GTX theme that has fixed most of the visibility issues you might want to try.

Running the 4/6 GTX ROM...changed the wallpaper to the white energy theme and now the white fonts of the programs in the start menu becomes hard to read. Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about:

Yeah, that's bad. My 4/1 has a drop shadow underneath the white font. I can't remember which of the hot fixes will sort that out. He's releasing a new GTX ROM today, maybe wait for that and see if that has the fix in it.
