It has always bugged me that the background image for the transitons while switching tabs, does not reach the bottom bar.
If you are using a no curtains cab, it's really noticable.
So I have prepared this cab to make the transition background, reach from the top taskbar, down to the bottom softkey bar.

Added 3 Second Timeout Stealth Slider with Transition Fix.

3-26-10
Added New Transition Fix, Cab file.
Which now also patches the background transition in landscape mode and includes my stealth slider, with a 7 second timeout.
I have left the default retractable slider tab, that you have in landscape, as the skin.
This way you can install and uninstall other skins for it, without effecting the easy ability to remove this cab.

Shortly, I will add the transition Fix, with Landscape patched, without the Stealth Slider, as well.

*If you are using one of my retractable sliders, this will disable it.
I will also make and post a cab that will include the retractable slider tab, if there are those that would like both.

I also have made a cab in the past, to remove the transition completely, but I wanted to provide this option as well.

I also just realized, I forgot to patch landscape too.
I will fix that tomorrow as well and post an updated cab.
For now this will fix portrait, but landscape will remain stock still.

Will do this evening.
Which timeout setting is preferred?
As I have made the Stealth Slider, ranging from 2 through 10 second timeouts. I guess ideally, I should probably do each one.

Well I have made the stealth sliders previously.
The idea is to combine these two mods, as they share the same file.
This would essentially provide another option.
There is no point in linking to those cabs in this thread, as they will not work with this.
That is the reason I will make new stealth slider cabs, with this incorporated into it.
I realize I have many mods and threads going.
When I get a chance, I intend to make up one post, with all my mods and threads linked within it, with brief descriptions of each item linked.
That should be coming soon, so it should simplify sorting through all my isht! :)

I use this clear transition mod with both the stealth slider original 2 second and the newer version with a 5 second time out. I love having the clear transitions when scrolling through my slider. I have used the clear transition and stealkth slider on the XpressDusk Rom, MightyRom Project War, and will be trying it on the New MightRom Official tonight.

Thanks for all the work you have done, and I was going through the threads and 75% - 80% of the threads have main posts that will link to one of your maaaaannnyyyy mods.

I am just curious, I like to use your bubbly slider, but notice that it does not get rid of the top image, so when there is a notification for text or email it doubles the notification icon. Do you know if there is a fix for this? I know NRG has gotten rid of it on his sliders, but a lot of sliders that are transparent have this too.
If you could point me in the right direction I wouldn't mind learning to tear into the files for the slider and taking them out manually and producing a cab for anyone else later. I know C07 has a mode9 fix, but when I use it is skews the slider tray.

I also have a newer MOde9 fix for this. That is the best solution for that issue. If I get the time later, I can cab it up. It may not include all tabs though, depending on your rom.
As I do not have any Sprint Tabs, or the related Mode9 files for those.

Well the XpressDusk is 2.5.2011 and I believe Mike is using 2012. By Sprint tabs you mean like springt tv? I don't have any of those tabs either, as I run on little ole USCC...no one acknowledges us until last.

the no curtains fixed dont work for me. i tried on MM newest and X roms and it dont work. says installation is unsuccessful. thanks for all your mods btw!

I have the clear transition working now on the new MM rom.

I use num5kull's remove curtains for all my roms, never had a problem with it.

Also, his complete panel remove cab is very nice. Don't miss understand me Santod, your individual cabs for removing background panels works everytime for me, this is just a bit more convenient when I want all panels gone. I use yours for individual panels when I pick and choose.

No problem.
The No Curtains Cab was a new one I made the other day. It actually did have an issue and I have removed it.
However, I have had a No Curtains cab posted HERE for a long time now that worked just fine last night on Mighty's Rom. As well as the transition fix.

But it doesn't matter which one you use to me.
Just as long as you have what you need and want. :)

I stated in the first post, that this is not yet patched in landscape mode.
I had intended to redo the Lua script edits tonight, to include the patch for landscape and also provide seperate cabs with my stealth(retractable) slider included.
Did I take too long or something? :angry7:

Since you are the first responder, on these forums anyway.
Is the 7 second timeout good for now, or do you have a preference?
I suppose I can post several variations as I did for my stealth slider originally.
I had posted cabs with 2 seconds, on up to 10 second timeouts, before retracting.
Should I do that for this as well?
Any input from you or anyone else? :-\"

I did last night, as a matter of fact.
I did the 3 second one right away and was gonna post it last night for you.
Unfortunately my computer, mostly the Decompiler, decided to give me all sorts of issues right then.
I am just about done sorting that out.
Once I have it all sorted, I can then recompile the scripts and cab them up, as I had planned on having them done already. :-?
