But I am so used to holding down my end key to lock the phone I do that all the time out of habit. Is there a way to make the end key use the cookie's lock phone feature? I don't know anything about this stuff but was just wondering. I hit the lock button at the top and it's simple but sometimes still out of habit I forget and hold down that end key. Guess I could change it to do something else andf get out of that habit. LOL!

Manila style locker in softkey button.

Create reg keys like this in notepad:
Code:
REGEDIT4

HKCU/Software/HTC/Manila/
"Home.Lock.isLock"=dword:1
save as ex; Lock.reg (remember to put *.reg extension not TXT ) copied to windows
Then locate and change value on your phone to somethin like this
Code:
HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila/
"HomeLSKPath"="\Windows\Lock.reg"
"HomeLSKText"="Lock" (*named it as you want)

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (April 18th version 1.7.1.0)

Santod... Thank you for the quick update. I've uninstalled 1.7.0 and installed 1.7.1 then uninstalled Editor 1.7 and re-installed, but I'm getting an error message:

"There is a version mismatch with Co0kie's Home Tab v1.7.1"

Is there an updated editor as well?

So which one do you do 1st? Uninstall cookies then reinstall and then will the editor let you restore your quick links without having the updated editor? And then you uninstall and reinstall the new editor to match? Sorry I forgot how I did it last time.
Thanks, Rose

With Co0kie 1.7.0 installed and CHT Editor 1.7.0, use the export feature in CHT Editor to save your settings.
Then uninstall the editor, then Co0kie, then reset your phone.
Then Install the new Co0kie 1.7.1, reset, then install the new CHT Editor 1.7.1 and import your old settings from within the new editor.
