could sum1 explain the each option 4 the lockscreen, ex. wat its supposed 2 do when on/off?

i tried fooling w/ it last nite but i dunno if i was turnin a option on that i shouldnt or wat but it would freeze screen n such

i think i had cht lock on, win. lock on, hide lock icon an use win. lock screen

i think i already read the bottom wallpaper cut off on bottom is issue w/ fullscreen, after i inabled the lock then try to edit home layout, press n hold item, the selection menu pops up an freezed. also w/ page indicator off the lock indicator off both appear.

my main question is wats cht lock on do, the under it why wm device lock. then at bottom you choose manila locker or mini or default. is there certain things 2 turn on for certain lockers. i tried looking for explaination of each option like there was when 1st released but wasnt 1

thanks ooh yea, on deck s3 r11.5 based off sprint 6.5 update w/ no manila mods or lock screen mods/apps

You either use CHT locker, or default locker, not both.
Then, if using CHT locker, you can select the style of lock slider you want to use for CHT locker, from the choices in the menu.
Manila locker style, HD mini style, or WinMo 6.5 style slider bars.
But you should not have both CHT locker and WinMo locker enabled at the same time.

Ok I hope I did this right? I went to my CHT editor and exported my settings to my memory card. I then uninstalled 1.61 and phone rebooted. I now installed 1.7 and phone is rebooting again. And then I will import my settings back and hope my quick links all came back. I loved 1.61 and thought it was so cool. So I know I'm gonna love this. I don't use HD walls so I hope my backgrounds for all still work right and that I can still use my transparent clock. And the missed call text and email bar is cool but can that be hidden? I think I read the bottom task bar with slider can be hidden. I'll have to check my settings. But I thought I was told only do the cookies cab leave the editor alone which is what I did. But now it says I have a mismatched editor to go to XDA for appropriate version. So do I uninstall the editor now and search for the new one?

No, there is nothing else you should need to do.
I have not had or seen any issues with the notification bar not working.
That was not an issue that ever came up in all of the testing.
Not sure as to why it would not be for you.
I will keep my eyes and ears open to see if anyone else has this issue, if so, then I will hunt down a solution.

Both the new CHT and CHT Editor for 1.7 are in post#4 on the first page of this thread. Please look there for cabs and links to the same cabs at XDA as well. You will want the new editor, to use the new features.
