Trouble with black tsk
 

I wanted to change my top and bottom bars to black, so I installed the HTCBlack tsk from here:

I thought it would require me to copy to the windows directory, but it was a cab.
My bars are black but it also changed my menu bar highlight to a horrible green from gray. What I mean is, when you go into a menu whatever you have selected is green. How do I change it back to gray or even blue. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, but the cab didn't work. Maybe I didn't explain well enough. For example if I go into file explorer/storage card, whatever is highlighted (in this case application data) is green. Before it was gray. Also, if it makes any difference, I am Sprint - stock. Any other ideas?

Yeah, I was thinkin about something else andvrealized after I posted. I have something else for you, Ill post when I get back to PC. On my TP2 at the moment. Give me a couple.

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but upon installing the pack you linked to, and installing the options, I was only given the option of Black, Blue, Red. I chose black, and it made the menu highlights dark gray, which is fine, but the task bar and bottom bar became gray also a gradient. I was not able to make the taskbar black. I also obviously can't pick a combo of the themes. Any other thoughts?

p.s. I just looked at the thread on XDA regarding this customization and it says it is for 6.5, 6.5.1, and 6.5.3. Perhaps this is the problem. I am on stock Sprint which is 6.1.

I assume you mean install the Simple Gloss theme cab first, then the exe? Can I run the exe off of the storage card or should I move it to the windows folder first? Can exe's even run on Windoms Mobile, or is it one that I run through Actve Sync?

Yes, move it to windows and execute after the theme has been applied.

Better. The color on the bars is darker, still not black but closer. The strange part now, is that the bars are a gradient from medium gray to dark gray, but I haven't installed the gradient pack. Sorry this is so difficult, I really appreciate your help. What is the best way to take screen captures? Perhaps a shot would help.
