Well, I just installed it on a fresh flash of Mighty Rom War, as I was dong some testing anyway and had just flashed, seemed like a good time to give it a go.

I was already very tired and losing my mind. After installing 2.8, I lost all my "SENSE". Yiiiikes!

Doesn't work on MM 12/30, does anyone have any ideas on how to get it up and running. It seems like an awesme theme. But would switch roms if need be. Thanks for you help.

Yeah, it's pretty unfortunate! I may give it a go on "Impact", just to see if it behaves nicer on that. I am also looking into what the cause is exactly. I don't know if Max is planning to fix it to be more compatible, since his response about it was,

As I have said, if the cook modifies the original package, there's nothing much I can do.

He replied to one of my MSG. About WAR rom and said, " The later ROMs thats dated 12/30 and later may still have some manila 1921 on them that's stopping, his theme from working" but he said that was just a guess.

HDWalls DOES work with 2.8. Follow the instructions Maxcy posted about selecting TouchFlo 2.5 Beta and it will work just fine. However you will still need to select the wallpaper for the MAIN screen. HDwalls will only change the wallpaper for the rest of the tabs. You also need to select option D for wallpaper in MaxManila.

I feel the same way. MaxManila 2.8 doesn't work with Silent's HDFL ROM either and I am torn as well. I am running with Energy right now, but I do miss Silent's ROM.

Ok, if, not working on home=working, then you are right.
I was able to incorporate BG4all into it and have the same wallpaper on all tabs, including home. I don't plan to use it most likely, anyhow. Just checking it out!
