Re: Some themes, fixes, panoramics and more

Hey Root, I know you're busy, but I was wondering if you had already made any font fixes yet for Sense 2.5? Weather tab current temp, calendar, etc...

Re: Some themes, fixes, panoramics and more

I will try to update my packs soon.
Some of the older ones work for most of the fonts.

Will work on size and color soon.

Re: Some themes, fixes, panoramics and more

Ok so I finally got a chance to tinker with it tonight after work. Guess what I was able to change out the Max Ultimate icons for a quick set I made.

As you can see it's not perfected and I think I understand the reason for so many of the double files (so to speak). After I did a hard reset and full backup of manila. I found 6 Twitter pages the rest all have three.

I don't know why twitter has so many could be because in the Leo it can be rotated? so the extra pages? Well anyway. You have three of every other icon, 1 is the base icon, another is the touch icon(enlarging), and last would be the icon at rest with the slider over it. In the pictures you can see some alignment issues with the slider over it. I would think this is because of when I edited the pictures down I didn't do the best job. Plus it was a rush job just to see if I could do it. Now i will have to go back and find which ones have to sit a little higher or lower to get them to sit right.

Re: Some themes, fixes, panoramics and more

You might be able to omit the third one and make it transparent.
Possibly taking out the overlap completely.
Not sure because I have not tried it.
Don't know what it would really do.

I might have to go that route but not without playing first.

I figured I would also upload all the Manila files I have found with the icons attached to them.

Re: Some themes, fixes, panoramics and more

Very nice.

I have slowed my mods because I am trying to build a full rom and cook it successfully.
Checking all the latest builds for wm and manila.
If I get it working to my standards I may post it up.
It will have to be working with minimal bugs and with nice visuals before I can release it.
So... it may never get released. LOL

Sorry I have not been posting much here but there is a ton of reading to do.

Re: Some themes, fixes, panoramics and more

Ok it would seem it was something in Max that was/is causing the doubling up. I uninstalled Max and it went away . Upon reinstalling Max it came back but along with the windowed slider. If I turned that off it clears up.

Re: Some themes, fixes, panoramics and more

Well after making some new icons last night I think I know whats going on with them now. Two of the icon's I believe are stock manila( and by the way that rar above is the stock+max ultimate) and the third I believe is from Max. In his options window there is the option to turn on and of the slider window/magnifier. So when you scroll over the icon it's supposed to enlarge. Today will be spent playing with the icons and see if I can't get them to work properly ie enlarged when touched then minimize as you release and having the last image be the same as the one below.

I have gotten them to enlarge and stay that way when left over the icon. I might just have to leave it this way.

Home page static

Home page while holding slider

Home Page while scrolling(magnifier off)

Music page with magnifier but you'll notice I have the wrong file in place. Instead of going bigger it gets smaller. One of the few things I have to do today.

Music again without magnifier.

I'm getting there. Hopefully sometime today I can have a fully working cab to upload. I'm still looking for a few good icons for weather and calendar, I just haven't found any I really like.

Re: Some themes, fixes, panoramics and more

RootRom Beta 1
Feel free to mirror if you want.
If and when I cook a NEW version I will post here or in a new thread.

Thought I would post this here for any wanting to test this out.
It is not ready for a thread of it's own yet but it is running smooth and stable.

Twitter tab not working and GoogleLocationService is not working but City weather is.
HTC SMS and MMS are working as well for me so no need to use WM messaging.

Slider is transparent so I leave the top five shortcut slots empty for a sorta neat effect on the home tab.

I forgot to enable Wallpaper changing so in the rar is included a very small cab that will re-enable that as well. BG4ALL is working after that.

Ummm... I think that is it.
