try this cab there was a video of it working on a Touch HD with manila 2.1 the problem may be is its made for our "ported" 2.1 and the actual 2.1 on the TP2 is different? i don't know :-$

Well, it restored my wallpaper to the original and fixed the Heros... There's also leafy image when I scroll but it doesn't seem to be a Pano image...

This may be a good baseline to start playing with... Definitely something brewing here...

I went back and redid the TP2 Pano cab above. I keep forgetting that the TP2 doesn't have compression on it.](*,)

Go back and try that one again.

well heres the blog post on the manila cab i just posted. (original is in german incase google translate link fails)

also according to that post it's suppose to be a leafy thing that scrolls.

You may want to change that Maybe to Definitely... I see Spidey on my TP2... Not sure if it's 100% since this will be the first TransPano I've seen in action... When I scroll, no matter what tab I'm on the tab image remains behind spidey... This could be how the TransPanos work...

I'm off to see Michael Jackson tonight but can post a little video of it in action later...
