3 Attachment(s)
Just passin along some goodies..

Now CDigiClock change to CHeroClock
a new HTC Hero Android Phone Style http://forum.xda-developers.com/imag...es/biggrin.gif
http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/588/sshot000.jpg http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/1751/sshot001q.jpg

another clock plugin with simple RSS reader
manila style with animation http://forum.xda-developers.com/imag...es/biggrin.gif (the original idea from Twolf)
hopefully this work for you

the RSS reader just a very very beta for test
if that not work well, i will delete this function on the coming version
it is simple work by mortscript with my stupid knowledge (if anyone can help to modify is welcome http://forum.xda-developers.com/imag...es/biggrin.gif)
you can input your flavour RSS feed, everytime you manual input the new address,
it will add to the flavour list, so be carefully don't input the same address
this may not work on all RSS feed (some feed with most html code, and i still search the way to delete them)
remember the address is start from http:// not feed://

what you need:
Mortscript

http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/1593/sshot000fkz.jpg http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/2030/sshot001l.jpg http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/6373/cdigiclock5.jpg http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/1310/cdigiclock6.jpg http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/935/cdigiclock7.jpg

V0.31
update for all resolution

V0.4
Enable and Disable RSS Feed option add
Now you can install to Main memory or Storage Card http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/eek.gif
after first install a menu Popup, choose the "CDigiClock" Folder and click OK
when rss disable, it will show the appointment instead

V0.45
update fix the problem am & pm
rework some script and better memory use (i hope http://forum.xda-developers.com/imag...ies/tongue.gif)

V0.46
add option to hide rss in the page 1, this can use fewer memory
if you installed the v0.45, and it fine, not need to update the new version,or you can only download the setHr.zip, unzip and copy to file to CDigiClock folder and replace the setHr.mscr

CHeroClock
V0.1
New layout, only 2 page
test for qvga, wqvga, vga & wvga screen
Download: RapidShare, Sendspace

this is very impressive & works great too! not quite as smooth of a flip clock as TF3D but looks like a very nice start with major potential. great work i'm interested to see how this unfolds.

luvs it

I'd like just the clock- no RSS reader or weather. Is that possible?

Ok, heres what ive found..this is not all inclusive, and i have yet to get the weather to show like on the pics in the op...

1. install mortscript, and soft reset

2. install the CheroClock...make sure you do VGA if you have a TP.

3. soft reset TWICE

4. you will see the clock on your homescreen (remember this is for Titanium)

5. on your right soft key, you will see set. press that, it opens the settings menu

6. the 24hr is the 24 hour clock, and the 12hr is the 12hr clock...easy, pick which one you want and thats set. you will prob want to soft reset to get changes to take effect..if you want the 24 hour clock, do this:

edit the DigiClockTime.mscr (in "Windows\Startup")
search the line
SystemTime=FormatTime("h:i a")
change the ("h:i a") to ("H:i")

7. you can add the rss feed function, this will put whatever RSS feed you want underneath the clock. if you dont, it defaults to appointments (see pics below)

8. For the Manual Input Feed Address, you can manually input the feed address you would like to have displayed.

9. Any changes (beside the 12/24 hr clock) requires a soft reset, it will prompt you to do this once you click on ok, after any changes.

10. You can select from a list of favorite RSS feeds. If you manually input a feed, it will show it on this list. I have not found a way to delete unused feeds ](*,)

11. You can update the feed from the settings menu, i havent seen it do it automatically

12. You can show hide the RSS function. As stated earlier, if you hide it, it will display your appointments.

13. you can reload the plugin, not sure how usefull this is, as any changes made prompts a soft reset

14. The clock is not skinnable (as far as ive found) You might be able to take some other clock skin files and over write, but not 100%...im sure somebody will figure it out.

15. You can slide the clock left or right to dislplay more information from the RSS feed (if applied)

Thats all ive figured out so far. Hope this helps. Pics attached below.

wait, so... you installed it, and it looks like that? i want to install it, but really only if i get the android skin, otherwise i'd be fine with just having the weather tab installed separately .

seriously, this got a no thanks?

Edit:
ok figured it out, there are two versions of the clock, the one in the earlier post is if you want an RSS Feed in the clock, this is if you want the weather, like on the Hero...

ok, got it working, heres what it looks like:
http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/2015/cheroclock.pnghttp://img24.imageshack.us/img24/5097/page2k.png

I edited the background for the clock, so i can see my background :evil4:

Installing is the same, as i stated before, but the settings are different as seen here:
http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/4874/herosettings.png

the weather settings is different. You have to manually enter your Accuweather location code (your zip). You have to manually start your data connection :disgust:. but the app is developing as well...

Under weather settings you have:
1. location code (search database, only goes to the congo, dont even bother)

2. the manual location code input...USE THIS..

3. Units (f or c)

4. Icon (if you want some of the showaco weather icon (i have the beyond invisible icons installed)

5. Update weather. Like i said, you have to manually start your data connection.

As stated earlier, I did change the background to be a little clearer, so i could see my background. If anybody has the image files for a clear clock, it would be appreciated, all i can find are tf3d cabs...

Other than that, its pretty straight forward, a lot easier than the CHome clock i detailed earlier.

Also of note, is that the clock doesnt work in landscape yet, its unread/usable.

Here are the background images i modified to be clearer....simply go to your program files>CHeroClock>Clock, and drop the images in there, and reload:

so you can't set it to check the weather automatically? i think i'll wait until thats sorted out because i really like being able to just look at the phone to see what the weathers like instead of having to manually start it.

yea, if i knew coding, i would try to edit the mortscript...but i dont...lol...but i think its being worked on.

i have edited the background files to be clear, so now you can see most of the background..my background is dark, so it doesnt show up as well, but you can get the idea. if you want the files, let me know:

Hey this is really awesome, nice job! I liked the way you first had the clock, just semi transparent, you don't happen to still have those files do you? Or do I use the .jpgs you originally posted up?

EDIT: Never mind, guess the 2 different screen shots are the same... my bad!

Now for a real question... when I'm not on the DigiClock time, it shows the time, and "p08" after it... which also shows on the weather tab i noticed (when i scroll on digiclock) - any idea what that is and how to get rid of it?

it has to do with the 12 hour clock...if you switch to 24 hr clock, it goes away

working on modifying the rss feed clock now...

The clock is (was?) using a beta version of MortScript. Updating my phone to this same version (4.3b11) fixed the am/pm display issue for me.

Hope this helps.

pointless if youre a touch pro user and use your keyboard....as soon as you go into landscape it distorts everything.

I'm not sure if this is per build or simply a coincidence, but I'm on calks 23060 build, and all of my issues with Cdigi or Chero clock have gone away.

I used to get constant flickering/pop up where the numbers get big then small. since the new build i have not had the problem.

Most likely a coincidence, however, as explained earlier ... a simple reload under the options menu usually takes care of what you described.

I understand the Reload trick, but when I was on other builds i found this app to be useless. Now that I'm on 23060 I havent had to reload once.

Well first I am running (at least in that screen shot i was) Demolition Rom for the diamond. found here: click

I then installed mort script beta (included below)
CHeroClockv0.1.cab (in the first post of this thread)
and copied the DLL file that makes your titanium bars clear to the windows directory on my phone. (included below, unzip it first.)

Finally, the wallpaper, also included below, set it as your today background.
