28 Jul 09 [APP][WM6.5]CDigitalClock / CHeroClock V0.1 (QVGA, WQVGA, VGA & WVGA)
Just passin along some goodies..
Now CDigiClock change to CHeroClock a new HTC Hero Android Phone Style ![]() ![]() ![]() another clock plugin with simple RSS reader manila style with animation ![]() hopefully this work for you the RSS reader just a very very beta for test if that not work well, i will delete this function on the coming version it is simple work by mortscript with my stupid knowledge (if anyone can help to modify is welcome ![]() you can input your flavour RSS feed, everytime you manual input the new address, it will add to the flavour list, so be carefully don't input the same address this may not work on all RSS feed (some feed with most html code, and i still search the way to delete them) remember the address is start from http:// not feed:// what you need: Mortscript ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() V0.31 update for all resolution V0.4 Enable and Disable RSS Feed option add Now you can install to Main memory or Storage Card ![]() after first install a menu Popup, choose the "CDigiClock" Folder and click OK when rss disable, it will show the appointment instead V0.45 update fix the problem am & pm rework some script and better memory use (i hope ![]() V0.46 add option to hide rss in the page 1, this can use fewer memory if you installed the v0.45, and it fine, not need to update the new version,or you can only download the setHr.zip, unzip and copy to file to CDigiClock folder and replace the setHr.mscr CHeroClock V0.1New layout, only 2 page test for qvga, wqvga, vga & wvga screen Download: RapidShare, Sendspace Xda thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...=CDigitalClock

this is very impressive & works great too! not quite as smooth of a flip clock as TF3D but looks like a very nice start with major potential. great work i'm interested to see how this unfolds.
luvs it

Re: 28 Jul 09 [APP][WM6.5]CDigitalClock / CHeroClock V0.1 (QVGA, WQVGA, VGA & WVGA)
I'd like just the clock- no RSS reader or weather. Is that possible?

Ok, heres what ive found..this is not all inclusive, and i have yet to get the weather to show like on the pics in the op... 1. install mortscript, and soft reset 2. install the CheroClock...make sure you do VGA if you have a TP. 3. soft reset TWICE 4. you will see the clock on your homescreen (remember this is for Titanium) 5. on your right soft key, you will see set. press that, it opens the settings menu 6. the 24hr is the 24 hour clock, and the 12hr is the 12hr clock...easy, pick which one you want and thats set. you will prob want to soft reset to get changes to take effect..if you want the 24 hour clock, do this: edit the DigiClockTime.mscr (in "Windows\Startup") search the line SystemTime=FormatTime("h:i a") change the ("h:i a") to ("H:i") 7. you can add the rss feed function, this will put whatever RSS feed you want underneath the clock. if you dont, it defaults to appointments (see pics below) 8. For the Manual Input Feed Address, you can manually input the feed address you would like to have displayed. 9. Any changes (beside the 12/24 hr clock) requires a soft reset, it will prompt you to do this once you click on ok, after any changes. 10. You can select from a list of favorite RSS feeds. If you manually input a feed, it will show it on this list. I have not found a way to delete unused feeds ![]() 11. You can update the feed from the settings menu, i havent seen it do it automatically 12. You can show hide the RSS function. As stated earlier, if you hide it, it will display your appointments. 13. you can reload the plugin, not sure how usefull this is, as any changes made prompts a soft reset 14. The clock is not skinnable (as far as ive found) You might be able to take some other clock skin files and over write, but not 100%...im sure somebody will figure it out. 15. You can slide the clock left or right to dislplay more information from the RSS feed (if applied) Thats all ive figured out so far. Hope this helps. Pics attached below. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by piranah; 08-03-2009 at 03:18 AM. |
