Re: colonels custom rom?

with feb28 whenever I try to run igo 2006 or opera mini + ie w/o killing voicecmd first, I get a screen that pops up, telling me to terminate a program. but it doesn't let me kill anything, just hangs.

is memory utilization improved with this new rom?

memory

no it should be about the same as the Feb28 was, but there is a little more free on reset now. its just that iGO takes so much memory to run, not sure about opera but... killing voice command and S2U2 always seems to free up enough for me to use iGO anyways.

Re: colonels custom rom?

I really am in love with this ROM and its perfect except I cannot connect to Vision with this Rom?! Everything else seems to work perfectly. Could it be related to the fact that I flashed the official Sprint GPS Rom, thus updating the radio to the latest version? IOTA wouldnt run until I installed the IOTA cab and now it appears to run properly -- displaying the Preparing Vision Services. Please wait.... dialog box and then about 5 minutes later displays an error message: Data Provisioning Error-Error Code: 1012 Could not prepare Vision services. Any ideas?

[Edit]
After a soft reset it acts a little differently now when I click the IOTA button, it says its doing the IOTA thing but then displays a dialog box with username, password and domain. Then it immediately displays the generic error message above. Anyone have any ideas?

IOTA issues

you can try just checking the save password box "without" putting any username or password in there.
try resetting your Vision password online, that will usually clear up issues like this. if that doesn't work, call sprint and have them reset it for you.

Awesome. Just checking the box without entering anything seems to have worked like a charm. Thanks!

Re: colonels custom rom?

I found the fix to enable Ketris in the colonels ROMs. In the ini for smartskey, DPAD=0 allows the game to work.

Re: colonels custom rom?

I've had a couple lockups when using wifi or switching from horizontal to vertical

Its not as snappy as Nue's newest but that's to be expected

Re: colonels custom rom?

Is there a way to add the cool signal meters and icons with the PPC kitchen? I am not sure what you do to create those. Chad

Re: colonels custom rom?

colonel,
did you change something about the midlet manager? it seems horribly buggy compared to the way it acts w/ opera mini 4 in 2/28's rom. So much that I actually tried out my own rom, which only made me appreciate yours more. Too bad there's not a way we can start out with yours and add/remove to our likings...
