colonels custom rom? - Page 34

I cannot get conneted to the internet with the latest 12/28 ROM. I get error 1012 when I try to start IOTA. Flash back to stock ROM and all is well. Am I missing something in EXt ROM or something else that is holding me up here with htis latest ROM?

I cant seem to get PocketContacts to work correctly. IT wont send regualr text messages.

Well now my phone will not get on the web nor get email.
I hard started, I reinstalled 10/21. I reinstalled sprint rom. It worked fine, I then reinstalled 10/21 not working again. Called sprint tech support. Cant do the floowing that they claimed they needed to do. start, settings, phone, services, internet, get settings, start will not start.
Then they had ne go to the dail pad and type ##3282# phone starts to go to screnn but them goes back to dial pad. They said phone messed up take to store. So thats where I am at. I think for is ok it will go to internet and email under sprint rom. So I think this is a 10/21 problem. I was loving the rom because its all that. But it only worked for 5 days or so. Any help.

My brother has the same problem on his Mogul. !!! Weird!! He's using a Colonel rom, as well. It might be the 10-21 one!

If you installed the sprint ROM, and it worked, why did you bother calling tech support after switching back to colonel's? Please don't call tech support when using a custom ROM. Don't take it into the store with a custom ROM on it either.

I am sorry if my post was written confusing. I did not contact Sprint tech support about a custom Rom. I am new but not that dumb. I will attempt to correct myself so I am clear. 10/21 worked for about 5 day great then last night it would not let me get on the internet. So I called tech support and they tried to fix it but was not able to because we counld not get into some things.:

settings, phone, services, internet, get settings, start will not start. Then they had me go to the dial pad and type ##3282# phone starts to go to screen but them goes back to dial pad.

So with that I then did a soft reset, hard reset, reinstalled 10/21 and it still did not work. I then reinstalled the sprint rom the phone worked going to the internet. I felt things were working correct again so I then reinstalled 10/21 and the problem came back. And that is where I am.

Now is there any help????

Claude there are plenty of phones far better than ours, so your sig line just seems silly.

As for the problem your seeing.... Have you went into settings/connections /manage existing connections/ enter a name / giveaname / #777 /blank blank blank?

Also try a HardReset or two.

Well I flashed my bros mogul with a ROM cooked in the new dogguy kitche and those connectivity issues were gone...

Weird stuff. His internets went down on Jan 3rd.. if that makes a difference. he didn't have any issues before then. its weird.

Raging Idiot I see why yo have the name. Sit sir I didi that also. If seems to me and I am a newbe, when I installed the sprint rom and went to the internet the first time a pop of up come up that its and these are not the correct work but something to the effect its gett ng sometype of data proviztiong? But 10/21 does not do that, I dont know if it make a difference. Anyway as I said and I did it again put the sprint rom on works no problems installed 10/21 no internet?

Anyone going to help and I have sent PM to colonal no answer.

for now I an back to using sprint rom no choice need my mail.
