So, I flashed the ROM and it wouldn't boot, of course because my radio version was still 1.30 did a hard reset, no change of course... finally found the camera button (yeah the bottom right one by the stylus LOL I never use my phone's camera ) and used power+camera+reset to get it into bootloader, now trying the 3.42.30 radio that installs with ROM Update Utility (RUU) automatically from the XDA Developers thread vioa USB and it's mid-flash, hoping for success... EDIT: Flash finished, hard resetting and going thru... thanks again for your help. Thing is I forgot to backup my SPL settings/etc., hope that doesn't come back to bite me .

EDIT2: Ohhhhhh boy, this has been a joy... it didn't flash MY rom, it flashed the no2chem I was modifying because I didn't know to hit the green Build button first. Now I'm rebuilding the ROM with my selections, and flashing from bootloader, radio seems to be right at least and I think things are under control. Will update once everything's working, just kinda worried about not having backed up those settings...
