The answer to your question is already in this thread. I know it's 100 posts long, but the more times we get repeats of the same questions the harder it is for people to find those answers. there is a search this thread button at the top of the forum that you can use. Olipro and many others have already answered what this is for. It's also been said that if you aren't comfortable with things like mtty and bleeding edge type testing it's better to wait until there are more tools developed for this. This is a key step in a process. With this it is possible to load custom roms, but the tools to make them are still in development.

Perhaps someone should edit the original post and put it in real big bold letters exactly what this does and doesn't do. That way people won't keep asking the same questions over and over again. Just a suggestion :)
