OK, I fixed the Reply All issue. If you want to replace the left softkey in Outlook from Reply All to simply Reply, it's a simple reg edit that will go into my next ROMs. In the meantime, here's the edit and a cab which will do it for you:

Code:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Services\OutlookEnhancement]
"Dll"=""

Enjoy!

WOW 23003 is fast but BURNING batteries and several lock ups. Had to reset 4 times today and burned up 2 batteries with very modest use. My phone is physically hot after any use.

I've had mixed results with battery life. Yesterday was fantastic - full day's worth of use and it stayed above 65%. That's including use from 9ish in the morning through 10ish at night. Today, I'm already down to 35%. I'll look and try to find out what may be happening...

How's everyone else's battery life?

I have not had any lock-ups at all. Can you provide me a list of any programs or registry edits you've installed? Especially if something is either a new install, but a complete list is best.

Any chance you can include Autorun for UC?

I'll include it in the next build, but I highly recommend you look into SASHIMI. It is extremely easy and much more straightforward than UC. Thanks for using my ROMs!

Is this a fix only for Titan or could this work on a 6.5 Touch Pro?

It should work for all models on 6.5...but I don't have a Touch Pro and can't confirm. Let me know what happens if you try!

If you take a look in chat, Mattsm and I are discussing this now. That reg key doesn't exist at all right now on my TP so I don't know if I should use that fix. I still appreciate the support though!

Well I run that same apps on all roms (I upgrade weekly) and this is the first time it has happened. I have a big list of apps, but I dl'ed another variation (diff chief) of 23003 and no probs. So I', just going to wait for your next version and see how that goes, but thank you for the concern!

OK, cool. Hopefully my next build will fix whatever the issue was. If not, the other chefs here are excellent and taught me much of what I needed to know. I trust their work whole-heartedly.

But my battery life today was fantastic again, so that made me happy.

Everything seems to be running smooth with this build. Only issue so far is weather panel not working but I'm not sure if it's the rom or weather panel...will keep you posted. Thanks for all the work man.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Weather Panel." If you intalled one of the Touch Flo or Manilla adaptations on top of this to get the panels, I can't really troubleshoot that. Can you give us a little detail about what program you mean, and what isn't working about it?

weather panel - it's a today plugin...without a doubt the best weather program available by Marsware. Never been an issue before, i've been using it for 2 years with every rom no problems until now.

I was just looking at this thread:

And it looks like older versions of WeatherPanel are broken. Lucky for you, though, a new one got released today! Those guys are good.

Ha ha ha. I'm actually holding off on another build; 21921 was released, but apparently it's similar to this one and contains some funky half-built adjustments in an attempt to make even even more finger-friendly. So...yeah. :-)

In regards to the Vogue dialer, I made a test build with a similar dialer built in, and it ate up RAM. You lose between 1 and 2 meg of RAM and I decided to leave that at the user's choice. If you want a bigger dialer, here are two links for you:

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...41&postcount=1
http://iconsoft.com/

I would highly recommend making sure that emergency numbers such as 911 work whenever installing a third-party dialer. Dialers MUST be built for CDMA devices and not GSM, or this will not work.

Hope that helps!
Ivan

So I'm anticipating the next build coming out within the next few days or so (purely speculation, but ti would follow with the rhythm). This is the perfect time to suggest/make criticisms of my work. I want this thing to rock for everyone.

So far, here are the things I am currently set to adjust - change splash screens and fix the Comm Manager.

Also, please note that my next build will not have the Alltel info cooked in. You (and everyone else) will need to install a carrier cab. I'll be sure to post those with the next release. This will make the phone more stable across various carriers.

Does anyone else have anything else they'd like to see adjusted?

You have been doing a great job posting ROMs cooked with the latest builds.
It is allways good to cook in the things that don't have a cab availadle for them.
That way ppl can "Season to Taste".
I have been flashing between 3 units and 4 Chefs.
The more I flash, the less I smoke (good therapy for tobacco quiter)
I found it very usefull to have:

Kernel,
Explorer Extention,
Input Keyboard for the symbols, (I tried to work with parts from 21501)
Oxios,
Internet Sharing,
MP3 Trimmer,
Sliding Sounds,
Voice Speed Dial, (Optional because of cab avail)
Office Mobile, (Either Complete or not at all. (The cab can add a 2nd shortcut)

And Thank You again for doing all the prep work and uploading of all of these fine ROMs.=D>

I just upgraded to 23007B and I am very impressed. Thank you for your time and commitment!

I still have yet to dig into getting GPS working, but I cannot send or receive Pic Messages. I can send/receive texts just fine, but I don't even have the option to send through SMS when I click "Send" while viewing a picture. Only email. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks again!

P.S. What is the "poutlook" in the startup folder?

Poutlook is important for the sending and receiving of emails. I recommend leaving it. :-) It stands for "Pocket Outlook."

As for Pic Messages (MMS), you will need to find the appropriate Arcsoft built for your carrier. Which carrier do you use(?), and I'll do my best to help you find it.

Thank you for the quick response. I am on Verizon and installed the "dcd Verizon Carrier 20081031.cab" I found on one of the other forums. I uploaded it in case you need it. I appreciate the help man!

Edit: After knowing I needed to look for an Arcsoft, I did some sleuthing and found this "GC VZW Arcsoft MMS 5.0.70.24.cab". Is that the one I need? I won't install it until I get the thumbs up from you cuz... well... I barely know what I am doing here

I was going to recommend you use GC's Arcsoft. I've heard from people on Verizon that it works. Since I'm on Alltel, I can't confirm, though. If I get the thumbs up from you, I'll put it in my collection of cabs on post 1.

Most likely, the way to retrieve your battery meter is to create a new shortcut in your StartUp menu.

Open File xplorer, and naviagte to your Program Files directory. You'll see the two executable files in there (dciBattery.exe and qwertyMemeory.exe). Use your stylus and make a long press on dciBattery.exe and select Copy from the menu. Navigate to Windows\StartUp and do another long press. Now select Edit -> Paste Shortcut. Now you can simply click the link you just created to launch it immediately. It will also start automatically on soft resets.

If you "disabled" it as you mentioned above, you may need to use whichever program you used to disable to re-enable. I've used SKTools before to enable/disable StartUp items.

Thanks. I have a newer version for Alltel that works on my ROM in the directory already, but I'll keep that on hand as a backup in case mine ever gets funky.

Many thanks for the quick response, but I think I was a little unclear in my OP.

I don't particularly like the dci/qwerty meters, so removed the shortcuts from startup (that is what I meant by disabled :) ). I was wondering if there is a way to get a standard battery meter icon back in the taskbar next to the volume, signal strength etc.

Ah, easy fix. Go to Start -> Settings -> Clock & Alarm -> More and uncheck the option to "Display the clock on the title bar in all programs"

Re: WM 6.5 - 23007 (17-July-2009)

Both 23008 and 23009 were released today. There is very little difference between the previous release (23007) and these two new builds. On top of that, 23009 was leaked by a different source than most of the previous builds. I built a ROM from it and found some serious problems, so I will not be releasing my 23009. Simply put, I am not confident that it's from a trusted source.

23008 was from our most respected distributor, though. I built a ROM from it, and it is on my phone right now. It looks, feels and reacts just the way many of the recent builds have. I honestly don't see anything new with it and memory usage is exactly the same.

But because I know how much everyone loves to flash, I am releasing a brand spanking new 23008A just for you:
http://www.4shared.com/file/11971016...tonetbone.html

If you'd rather stick with 23007B, that's totally fine. You are honestly not missing anything noticeable with this update.
