okay since i have nothing better to do than drink beer and put on a movie right now i've decided to re-flash, start over, and keep track of the mem hit of each of my programs, coupl of questions though:

1: if running in high mem setting, in order to use the camera we have to go back to the system settings and change back to low mem right?

2: is there any way to make thumbcal the default calander with out going through thumbcals options ( i actually like the look of the one i have better)

3: TBA, i forgot what i was gonna ask... damn beer

That's one method. You can also press/hold the Camera button and it will prompt you to restart.

There are registry settings out there to do it. Before ThumbCal could do it, I used SKTools which has a built-in calendar changer.

Not sure. But I saw your comments before about which apps you install. I use all of the same ones except for S2U2. It's not Skyfire eating your memory. It may actually be partially S2U2, because it's constantly running in the background.

The Favorites panel is pretty lame. My recommendation is to remove it. If you need a launcher, there is one called CLauncher (and a few others) at XDA. I've never used any of them, but they should be a significant improvement.

CVolume - A Titanium plugin that has four preset volume profiles.
TorchButton - A program which allows you to use the camera flash as a flashlight. I have the PTT shortcut it installs mapped to my voicemail button.
CHomeEditor - Allows you to remove and reorder Titanium panels.

To remove the Favorites, use CHomeEditor.

And here's an idea for the calendar. I don't know whether or not it works, but it looks like it should.

In order for those phone codes to work, you must install a carrier cab. Did you do that?
