My Results with Mattsm_23064_Barebones loaded from storage card....

Steps Taken:

1) Loaded ROM from storage card then removed battery, re-inserted battery and completed inital setup.

2) Hard Re-set Mogul, completed initial setup, installed Sprint Carrier Cab (To Device), soft-reset.

this got to be one of the best reviews/guide i have ever seen. excellent information and DETAILED. i almost flash to this rom myself because of this review lol

we need more of this type of reviews. =D>=D>=D>

With a pagepool of 4 these are the resultsl
Total 55.30 MB
In use 27.26 MB
Free 28.04 Mb

Dang it, it has been so long since I flashed ROMs, been happy with my 6.1 for a long time, I completely forgot all about the page pool....
However after loading all my apps, minus a few titanium plugins soaking too much ram, it is running great, will adjust pagepool to 4 and re-flash, load everything all overagain, and let everyone know the results along with a list of hwat I installed....

Thanks again Mattsm for a beautiful ROM!!!!!!!

Re: Mattsm 6.5 23064

Found a Task manager that actually makes the X button on the bottom close apps instead of minimizing in WM 6.5.1, all edits of setting have to be done through the registry but the post has the info for all the registry keys....
The post says it closes by default however when I installed it when I taped X it only minimized, had to go into registry to change but after that it has worked like a dream!

Hope it helps

Why not just use the nuekernel control panel that is included in the rom?
There is no need to reinstall apps.

Sorry for double posting the task manager, and thanks again, adjusted pagepool to 4 and now have 25.08MB avail after soft reset with everything installed....

Which is enough to allow sprint picturemail to work....

Quick question, that 28 mb is with just the 6.5 GUI after a soft-reset and clicking Oxios CloseAps? Also is there much of a difference between a 4 and a 12mb pp?

That memory was with the bare bones roms with a soft reset.

Going to a higher pagepool will increase the speed some, but you loose some of your total ram, (which reduces the available), by doing it.

A 4 pagepool will give you more total ram which results in more available. To me it is not enough of a difference to change since the 4 pagepool performs just fine. And gives you the most available free ram.

The non bare bones ram is lower available with some more apps installed. The result of it after a reset should be around the 25mb free.

I can't keep up!! LOL I just finished putting the new MegaM2d over your 23053 and it is very impressive. I started with 30mb with a 4 pp and no today screen. I added the cabs from WhiteAlien and I run at 17 - 20mb with the weather on the home screen and everything working except for music player, map search and the internet link. I should be able to get the Internet working as that is just a reg entry. But do I flash the new 23064 or continue optimizing my current configuration? Any way I go you :headbang::headbang: as I could not do it without you 23053 Barebones.
