Errrrr... you must be young!

You need to uncompress the rar file. Use something like WinRAR (google it - it's free).

Re: Mattsm 6.5 23016

Thanks anton_spaz. young - no. I've worked my way around this phone and through the registry, but no manual loads. OK. I 'un-rar'd' the big file and got tons of smaller directories. I'm afraid I don't know what to do with those now.

Download and extract the rar using winrar or 7-zip.org
It will extract a folder. Put phone in bootloader and hook up usb then run the rom updateutility in that folder.

Or you can just pull the .nbh(RUU_signed.nbh) file out and put it on the sd card and rename it TITAIMG.nbh and enter bootloader and follow grey screen instructions. SD card needs to be 2gig or less and formatted to FAT32

Re: Mattsm 6.5 23016

sorry, new to your roms, (but not my old SonyCLIE UX50, which is what the "wireless manager" looks like) I got a TP a while back, my sister wants my old Titan, trying to fix it up as best as possible for her (she didnt care about the annoying white spot on the screen) and getting it switched to USCC, as for the WiFi, I did test before I posted, both with and without the carrier, after a hard reset, I had my WiFi switch off, when i turned it on, it allowed me to enter the passcode, and as soon as it connected it disappeared seemingly from the whole phone, soft reset with it off again, same thing, did it this time with the switch on and its now up and working just fine and turning it off/on doesnt make it repeat (odd really)

rambled enough for now... now to tweak the **** out of it

You can install a comm manager cab on this and should have no problems.

I had the same issue with the wifi, did as you did and soft reset with the switch on, and now works as per usual.

Thank you and Kane3162. You know there as always been an issue with the wifi not working for some people ever since the 6.5 builds started coming. I was running Tplane37 builds before the 21501 was released and there were numerous people with wifi problem, but there were numerous people who have never had wifi problems(Me one).
I have not heard this mention anywhere before, again thanks for this feedback.

No worries Matt! I had never had a wifi problem until 23016 and noted Kane3162 had the same issue so it was good to see similar feedback and resolve the issue quickly.

Great roms Matt. My main Titan (work/personal use) runs your rom. I have another Titan for rom testing which alternates between yours and bbsandkm's 6.5 roms.

Re: Mattsm 6.5 23016

you know, I can google easily... but forum search always screws with me and leaves an anger management issue with me... I cannot find some commmanager cabs... I found one for VGA... but not QVGA...

Additionally since im here, i think it was the vogue manager that had the big 10button layout, anyone know of an updated one for WM6.5 (and even for the TP would be nice) I HATE the new one, the "switch" style looks so stupid to me it makes me want to... wait never mind... i facedesked
