Re: WM6.5 for HTC Titan Build 28005/21884 *UPDATE*

Hello, I am new to this forum so please forgive my newness. I have successfully installed your 28005 build and it is working great for the most part. My camera does not work and I realize I need to load the software for it, is there a cab I can install or do I need to cook my own Rom with it included? There are so many choices in the kitchen it is hard to tell what I actually need to make the phone fully functional. Is there a way for me to add a few things to your ROM, or do you have a basic list of what you include in your ROM? As I said, I like yours but I want to add a few things of my own.

Okay first off you don't need to load software to get the camera to work. It is turned off by default to free memory. All you need to do is go to Start -> settings -> system -> Kernal, and put the phone in low memory mode. This will allow you camera to work but gives you less free system memory so when you are finished taking pictures put it back in high memory mode. My ROM's are for the most part bare bones because I think people want to customize their phones the way they want. If you need a CAB file let me know and I'll see if I have it. You can also ask the good people on this site, XDA, and PPCKitchens. Chances are someone has it, and they are all very friendly and helpful.

Re: WM6.5 for HTC Titan Build 28005/21884 *UPDATE*

Thank's for the information. I am not very patient so I found a camera cab that is supposed to be better then the original and installed it. I guess the install changed the memory settings because the camera started to work. The strange thing is nothing was assigned to the camera button so I'm not sure how I would have gotten it to run without installing the cab. I can't thank you enough, my phone is so much more user friendly, I upgraded from WM6.1. The only thing I would like to change is the phone dialer, do you have one you would recommend?

What build did you flash?

Edit: Download and flash my new build 28014. Camera works fine. I tested it myself

Thumbs up Re: WM6.5 for HTC Titan Build 28014/21884 *UPDATE*

Can you make clean 28014 build without any 3rd-party apps?

Wow I never thought I would ever be asked that, my ROM's are pretty bare. Sure I can, I've got tomorrow off so I'll try to grill something up.

Edit: Bare bones build up on first post. Let me know what you think.

Re: WM6.5 for HTC Titan Build 28014/21884 *UPDATE*

Hey Jmartin72 great job on these roms and cabs that support them. My titan is running the 28014 build and to date it is the fastest and most stable. I just have a question and hoping someone else has this issue. For starters the Task manager closes programs but I can't get it to show up on the today screen. Second when I close a program it does not close completely. The program(s) will only be properly closed, or exited, through Task Manager when I "End Task". I am using your Task Manager from your download page. Anything will help, Thanks.
