Re: WM6.5 for Sprint Mogul Build 23504 *UPDATE*

Same "blanking" issue here. Aside from that, works great. The blanking issue is a big one. Oh, one other thing, sometimes after I use it for a few min, I can go and see mail messeges, but cannot open them to read. I have not added any other apps, but I do use mail2web for push function.

I have not had this issue with my phone. Not sure what could be different.

Question Re: WM6.5 for Sprint Mogul Build 23504 *UPDATE*

I am running build 23064. I have been using this ROM for about 3 weeks and found it to be best of yours available. Although IE does not work very well. Is there a fix I can apply for just IE? Or, do you think 23504 is by far the latest and "greatest"? Thanks again for your work on this, we appreciate it.

I agree with you 23064 has been the fastest and most stable as of late, in fact I've found myself going back to it, until 21874. It is the old interface, but its fast, stable and just works without issue. as far as IE they are all slow. however 21874 is the fastest.

Re: WM6.5 for Sprint Mogul Build 23504 *UPDATE*

Good morning and thanks for the quick reply. What do you mean by "old interface"? Also, what advantages does 21874 have over 23064? Sorry, I just hate to break something that is working great.

Hope you have a great weekend!

the 21xxx interface is what the winmo 6.5 phones are shipping with now. the 23xxx interface is the next generation 6.5.1 interface, on the way to winmo 7. It is more finger friendly, and you can't buy a phone that has it yet. If you like it I would stick with it. I'm sure the speed and stability will catch up to the 21xxx build before long. Keep in mind all of these builds r beta and thats the price we all pay for being on the cutting.

Where did all the free ram go? at a boot, I only have 5.65MB free ram. Just enough to open IE probably. Just loaded 23504 today and it is hard to believe the os uses 41.4MB.

Any way to possibly free up as close to half as possible?

Disable any unnecessary startup items other then camera?
