PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 Titan ROM

Hey guys, here is my clean WM6.5 ROM for the Titan. I used build 21501, it is very snappy and pretty nice and stable. Thanks to the PPCKitchen team.

How to flash:
1. Unlock with Olipro 2.4 or nueSPL 2.47 if you haven't already.
2. Flash a GPS enabled radio, you can flash Radio 3.35 from an installer over USB. If you already have a
3.xx radio you don't need to do this.
3. Now put the phone in bootloader, Hold down Power + Camera + Stylus in the reset hole.
4. Plug the phone in to your computer via USB, don't use a cradle or hub.
5. Run the excutable in the ROM folder and follow directions.
6. Hard Reset after finished flashing.

Finally here's the links. Download the ROM for your carrier, if your carrier is not listed use any one of your choice, the customizations will not run so you don't have to worry
about carrier settings being overiden, you will just need to set up MMS settings for you carrier.

Alltel
CricKet
Sprint
Verizon

Do NOT P.M. me for help flashing, everything needed has been posted in the forums before. Search or use Google, as chances are someone has ran into the same issue as
you before.

Enjoy the ROM :)

Not to fill this up with spam, but that was too funny. :-) Thanks for the laugh!

Lol. Let me know how you like it. I am not liking 6.5 right now since WA3 doesn't work with it yet. Chris is going to implement a fix, then I will probably love it.

\PDAJ Clean WM6.5 Titan Alltel.zip: CRC failed in PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 Titan Alltel\RUU_signed.nbh. The file is corrupt

Thats the error I'm getting when unzipping the Alltel Rom package FYI. Tried downloading twice and still getting it. Using WinRAR.

Ahh. Okay let me re-upload it. That was the last zip I uploaded, and I have noticed sometimes the uploader will not complete the last file I select. Sorry bout that.

Wonderful. I will make some more soon. I'm no expert chef like Juicy and MightyRom, but I can cook for the little guys who don't feel real comfortable using the kitchen and would rather just flash a clean pre-made ROM. Anyways hope you enjoy and let me know how you like it. I can't use it yet because WA3 doesn't work and that is like a must for me. I do like the improved features though.

Thanks for helping keep the Titan community alive! I'm very excited that we still have a few people willing to cook ROMs for our phones, and yours look excellent. I can't wait to see what the next versions look like.

Hmm, that is strange, as I got that link just yesterday and it went right to No2Chem's thread. I'll fix it, thanks for catching that.

Thanks for the build. I'm using the Sprint version and when I press the end call button it disconnects the data connection. Is there any way to fix that?

@ mitchell: The same thing happend to Alltel, I will re-upload when I get home later.

@ wasserja: I have not found that problem. I'll have to look into it.

It happens everytime I push the end call button. Worse than that if I receive a all and press the soft key to answer the phone doesn't pick up the call and I lose the call. If I answer with the send key it does pick up the call. No offense, but I'm going to try another 6.5 ROM.

Sounds like you are pressing and holding for a second. Try a shorter press on the end key.

wasserja 05-12-2009 07:35 PM

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 Titan ROM

No I verified that if I'm on the today screen and just tap the end call button the data connection drops and then it redials.

Very weird. No issues like that on my device. No offense taken, ther eare ROMs that I don't like and don't use. Every ROM has it's bugs, so this may not be the one for you. Thanks for testing it though.

Hey PDAJ great work on everything for the Titan. I am trying to flash my sisters Titan, I just got it for her, but the Verizon File has a corrupt file of some sort. Ohh also are you working on 6.5 for the Apache?? It seems like you know your stuff. Let me know whats up with everything. Willing to donate!

im loving the sprint rom, all of the other 6.5 versions have used too much memory for my poor phone. this one is working pretty much flawlessly.

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 Titan ROM

Is anyone else having a problem with memory leaks on the phone. It seems that I have to restart my phone at least once a day because my phone has slowed down so much to the point of not being able to use it sometimes. Other than that I must say that I love the rom and it works great.

hello i am trying to put this on my touch but every time is starts the upload they Active sync 4.5 shuts off. how do i avoid that?

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 Titan ROM

Disable usb connections in active sync connection settings. Manually place the phone in bootloader and then plug it in to computer. Run RUU program with .nbh file named RUU_signed.nbh

This ROM is for the Titan, not the Touch (Vogue). Look in the Vogue Upgrades Forum for WinMo 6.5 developments.

I like this ROM, however, I can't seem to answer any calls if I hit the talk button on the phone. Only if I hit the answer on the screen. ALSO... Since I put this on, my battery doesn't seem to last more than 6 hours. Otherwise I like this ROM a lot. TOO bad it SUCKS my battery dry... Any ideas?

How is ^^ that considered clean? I don't want PocketRAR. I don't want TotalCommander. I don't want Bluetooth FTP Explorer. I don't want chess, or Ms Pacman, or ClearStorage, or Cyberon apps.

Can those be uninstalled post flash? If not, is there such a thing as an ACTUAL clean ROM?

Re: PDAJ's Clean WM6.5 Titan ROM

I started to do the flash. I am in the bootloader and when I click on the link to the "v 1.04" as well as the link to "Verizon", it takes me over to the Mediafire website and gives an error message:

The key you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.

I don't see any info in your install guide or at Mediafire, regarding the need to input any key or what the key code is. Is my problem that these 2 links have been removed from Mediafire? If so, where can I get these 2 downloads? Also, how do I get out of bootloader without damage to my phone pending the new downloads? Thanks,

Hi, I've installed the ROM but I'm curious as to how you use BAF GPS Toggle, as the today interface is not the same. Is there some way to access the original today screen?
