Restoring to stock question

Well the keyboard has gotten to point to where it is basically useless even with the keyboard fix installed. I have insurance so I am going to take it to a repair center instead of spending $100 through asurion. Right now I have it unlocked with a custom rom on it. I was browsing and I found this post:

If I understand correctly, all I need to do is run the re-locker program and then flash it with a stock rom. Is this all I need to do to return it to stock?

Yea that is all you have to do. You can get the factory 6.1 ROM from the HTC website. Lock it then run the RUU from your PC then good to go. Good Luck on getting it repaired.

I have the rom from sprint that it is a self extracting exe. At first I was hoping they might replace it with a pro. But then I came to my senses and realized that I have money invested in this thing for a 3000mAh extended battery and a hard case among other things. If they can't fix it maybe they can replace with a new mogul.

Or you can flash the 3.35 ROM for unlocked devices listed in this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=21953 then relock. It will be an older ROM, but it will save you a couple of steps. I think there aren't any more replacement Moguls, but you never know what is on hand.
