Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

What are you guys experiencing in the free ram area once you get your titans up on this latest build??? With 21501 I am at about 13-15 free.... but this seems to dwindle down with minimal use during the day, and battery life seems very poor.... Any thoughts...?

gadgetcrazy 05-07-2009 06:24 AM

Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

I surely start with more 18-19 as compared to 13-14 that I did with 21501. However there is some leakage and after a few hours its like 8-9 mb, though still better than 21501.

Edit: did not find the option and also the task manager not in title bar on titanium today screen. Need to install wireless manager fix as well
going back to my build.

I flashed via sd card so did not see that, but it is 21222.
It is probably something in the kitchen, it was cooked in ppck

nuekernel IS running on mine from a previous build 21501. i start with 26mb free (and that is as good as it gets).
it says 21501 because i didnt edit the path in build os. (check under settings/about)

UPDATED POST 1 with an EDIT

i know tplane adds applications to his stuff so i can help until he comes back :) tell me what applications you guys are used to from tplane...
i can accommodate for people here... so tell me what applications you guys want in there and ill re-cook and post it as an update so far ill list some

things to cook for titan users:
1 nuekernel - mattsm
and camera
2 resume plugin WMP
3 Total Commander - mattsm
4 task manager - mattsm
5 RAR - btonetbone
6 Battery Registry tweaks
7 PsShut
8 PHM Regedit
9 Office Word - mattsm
10 VistaHide battery Meter
11 A2dp BT Hack to allow stereo
12 Replace Icons on top taskbar
13 nue performance - mattsm
14 Oxios Memory - demonlordoftheround
15 Advance configuration - btonetbone

Left Out:
googlemaps
livesearch
office excel (check #9)
office point

what else? ill check this thread tomorrow morning to recook
until then... out

mattsm 05-07-2009 12:15 PM

Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

Total commander a must
Different task manager HTC_Task_Manager_2_0_31261_1
I would include the camera for nuekernel (some still want to be able to camera)
nue performance
Office for some
google maps
these are some and others may post their likings

Also I noticed that the wireless manager does not have the fix in this when you go to start\settings\system\ wireless manager, but the hard button works.

Again Thanks.

For some reason, anything I try to install just tells me it was unsuccessful. Google Maps and the HTC GPS Tools both do the same thing. Any ideas why?

this is not meant to run on an apache. go check the apache threads for a 6.5 update.

you got a xv6700 apache

Thanks for the quick reply. I actually have a 6800. They ran out of the 6700s when I had to send mine in for replacement and they upgraded me to a 6800. I forgot to updte my profile.

And I am mistaken: Skyfire installed fine.

What are you talking about bbsandkm? YOU are the chef here. Even when the other guys do come back, they can't takeover this thread, You are the pilot here and this is a good start out, nice job.

This is the best case scenario, when the other chefs come back, they continue from where they left off, you continue your work as well. The titan community is better off, we offer them choices, and it is not a case of whose rom is better, rather a case where one rom suits a particular class and their needs, and another rom another class.
Therefore to me it is more complimentary than competitve.

I have had so many demands to upload my work, so for me it's just a matter of when not if.
You are doing a good work, and you can see the gratitudes pouring in, DON'T QUIT.

Yes so many files to play with. However you have done so well with CDMA_RSSI_PPC.dll, and phcanoverbmp.dll. Change your start icon in shellres.96.dll. If I know what other icons you want changed, might be able to help.

Thanks bbsandkm for all your hard work on this! =D> I love trying out new builds! (but hate reinstalling all my software :???: )

Just one question though before I update tonight - and sorry to beat a dead horse, but...

When I install/flash your 'updated' ROM from post #1, will it automatically have the nueKernel in it? i.e. After I flash can I set it (or will it already be set) to high memory and recover the camera memory?

Thanks again!

Thanks for the pointers. I'm not that good with the .dll edits, so I haven't really made an effort to change them. The EV/1x and multiple notification icons are the only other two not showing up.
