Does anyone have a link of a tutorial that will show me what to check? I also tried *228 but it said it could not program the phone

So wait. Is it working or not working? If it is not working like your title states, then try the carrier cab. If it is working like your post states, what's the problem?

So I just put on my sd card, put in the phone and do a hard reset and follow instructions?

If you have already flashed to a custom ROM and have your phone set up the way you want it to work (except for the internet/MMS of course), then you do not need to hard reset.

It's just a regular cab that you install on your phone, just like nearly every other program.
