This is actually my first custom rom flash =)
I got my Mogul from Sprint in Jan. last year, and upgraded to the first official gps rom (whatever number that was) in march, and it just seemed like it was time for an upgrade again with 6.1 and all. I upgraded to the 3.42.50 radio as well.

There's a lot of good stuff on here! I don't think I'll even have to bother with tcpmp anymore. GPS works great for me. Everything seemed a little slow and hitchy at first, until I went in and disabled touchflo (on by default). That smoothed it out a ton. Memory is quite a bit lower than I'm used to. I had around 24mb free on the old stock rom, down to 18-ish now. But everything seems to run alright regardless.

The only thing I havent worked out yet is how to get it to add my hotmail account. I go through the menu, type in my address and password, then it just gives me a link to windowsmobile.com/emailsetup/live, which just leads to my msn account in a ie window with no further instruction. I've gone through this about 3 times hoping I missed something somewhere, but no luck. I'm pretty sure it was a lot simpler with the old 6.0 rom.

you need the windows live cab for the hotmail.

Since i am still learning stuff, if i am in the US (GA to be specific), and with Sprint on my Mogul, and grabbed the Sprint Carrier ROM, do i just have to grab the rom flasher and use this file then? I know with the Kitchen stuff, you have to build stuff and have radio stuff and all that, but i am assuming this is just a much better version ROM, and i just need to Flash it only? I just want to make sure.
I am currently using the most recent ROM release from HTC site, which upgraded it from 6.0 to 6.1, but it's still so basic for me. And T2D installed is so sluggesh with any app loading, and CONSTANT having to reload, as well as the newest version only gives me 6MB free space left, and that's after removing Image and Music programs since i didn't use them anyway.
