Re: Verizon first-time Noob - missing anything?
Ok, well I have so many questions I better stick to the greatest one holding me back for now - I've read in numerous places to not let customizations run once you install the dialer but according to the very first link I included at the very top, and the one I'm going to follow since it's the only one that makes sense to me, it says to ALLOW the customizations to run...
...but then later you run DCD's Verizon Carrier CAB file which seems to put things back to normal. Anyone have experience with this and should I worry about all my EPST settings? I wish I could find a way to export them all just in case, too many to copy down. |
Re: Verizon first-time Noob - missing anything?
Ok, things have moved forward much better, now to find out why it says my phone is not authorized and to either dial #8899 I think or call them. I really don't want to call them as I don't know what to tell them.

Do *228, which is the only time that is useful. You can call and say you hard reset and now when making a call it won't work.
