OK button shows phone

Everytime I make my own ROM from the kitchen the OK button seems to act a little strange. More often than not when I push the hardware OK button it closes/hides the app I'm working like it should, but then it shows the phone app. If I push OK again then it closes/hides the phone app. I've heard of this happening before, but I'm not sure how to fix it. I'm assuming some OEM or something is conflicting with the button action. Any help would be much appreciated.

The Vogue Dialer does this. Build with the Touch Dialer instead.

Re: OK button shows phone

Thanks. I've re-cooked with the Touch dialer and things seem to be working as they should.
