Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
I did everything as instructed, installed the nueSPL no2chem bootloader, then uploaded my custom made rom image using kitchen, now i get the 1st boot screen with the red versioning text, then i get the second, then i get a generic HTC animation boot screen and it stays there permanently until the screen finally turns black or i remove the battery to restart it which just happens again... - what did i do wrong? i really need to fix this, i just got this phone !!!!!! PLEASE help!!!
I can get into the RGB striped nue2Chem bootloader OK - What are my options from this point? |
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
plaese help guys i have job interviews this week, i need to get this running... can i flash a rom in bootloader mode without kitchen trying to put it in bootloader mode? maybe something i put in the rom locks the boot process up. PLEASE help me!!!

Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
Try that, reflash with the device in bootloader. I'd also suggest looking over your build selections and removing all OEMs, build a clean ROM and flash that. Once you get a successfull flash, you can go back in and add stuff till you find out what caused the lockup.

Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
my phone isnt stuck in the loader, its stuck during boot
if i press camera + power + reset it goes to the rgb bootloader which reads: TITA100 SPL-2.47No2Chem Titan SPL EVT CPLD-9 how do i reload a rom onto it using the kitchen? it looks for an activesync connection and fails. How do you get it to load a ROM under bootloader? i will add/remove the addons and features like you said, i just dont know how to do it. thanks |
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick

Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
no i didnt update the radio, can you explain that also? is that required? i noticed i get real crappy reception on the sprint stock rom.. is this the radio:
http://download.america.htc.com/RUU_...CS_AM_Ship.exe do i need a working OS on the device before i do that? i got that url from http://www.htcwiki.com/page/Hacking+HTC+Mogul?t=anon Is that safe to perform? there is no rom update utility... how do i upload these roms |
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
Check out my tutorial. It has all the instructions. The link is in my signature. If it stops at the boot screen the you either don't have a compatable radio or ROM loaded.

Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
i tried to load radio 3.45 and it went to 8% gave me error 236 or something invalid command...
currently has radio 3.35.04 |
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
are u flashing from an sd card or usb cable
|
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
im using a usb cable. looks like i got the stock sprint rom to reload after flashing a radio file.. i still cannot get any higher radio version to upload on the device in the stock sprint OS..
I cannot successfully boot my kitchen rom, the one I've cooked in the PPC Kitchen environment uploads to my phone via bootloader or activesync just fine, but i get as far as the first Windows Mobile welcome screen and it makes a windows mobile sound effect and just halts there (eventually the screen goes black) so i actually get into the environment but no further.. so then i reload the original radio rom and back to stock sprint again.. going in circles here .. what now? ive attempted to install 3.45 version of alltell's radio (found on xda-developers) but it gets to 8% then says Error Invalid Command... im at radio 3.34.05 according to my R: at boot... i thought my upgrade was succesful but that does not reflect that sprint has obviously locked the crap out of this phone.. please help me get a good rom on this =( |
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
So you unlocked the phone then flashed a new bootloader then followed all the steps i noticed that GaMedic Posted a reply thats the tutorial that i used the first time i unlocked and flashed
|
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
thats the thing, ive followed the instructions! i cant get a rom on this phone! i think sprint is blocking it
|
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
the only way they could keep you from doing it is the bootloader but you said you updatd that to 2.47 correct

Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
Yes I put Olipro on it, 2.40.. to try a different solution other than No2Chem's
Ive flashed the kitchen on it 5 times now, same thing every time, this time following GAMedic's instructions PRECISELY, even taking the battery out and doing soft reset at boot(I Did NOT get a grey screen saying press R to continue! ever) and the kitchen rom boots as far as the turqouise/green Windows Mobile screen, hangs there for like 1 minute, makes a windows blip noise, but no tap alignment is loaded and it locks up at that point. Finally - the phone screen turns black and becomes inactive no matter what i press (only solution is to reset, repeating this process) why cant i flash my phone? Next solution - This whole time I've been using "WM6.1_96DPI_QVGA_20924" going to try 20934 or w/e this time My current selections: SelectionsVersion=.90.04 [BaseGroup]=GroupFile=Groups\BuildBases\WM6.1_96DPI_QVGA_2093 1_0409.txt [DeviceGroup]=GroupFile=Groups\DeviceBases\Titan_WM6.1.txt GroupFile=[UserSetup] ROMDeviceType=Titan ROMRevType=GPS ROMOSType=WM6.1 DeviceRUUType=Standard DeviceCarrierType=Sprint PagePoolSize=5 PagePoolType=Static SelectedBootSplashImage=240x320,HTC.dark.png SelectedSubSplashImage=240x320,HTC.dark.png SelectedAnimSplashImage=240x320,WMStartup_ani.gif SelectedMainSplashImage=320x320,aku7welcomehead.96 .png 110a1202-f5ca-49bd-90e3-3cf58e40a2b8, True, Sprint 3.35 89192331-b5d4-4530-8d48-af60456e9e4c, True, Telenav for Sprint 1de581e4-ea1f-11db-8314-0800200c9a66, True, Adobe Flash Player fffffff1-676d-4530-b7e4-9d895a2e3e52, True, AdobeReaderLE.2_00_288531 00baf61c-e3a7-4e67-82aa-319a299556a6, True, Chess 48e83013-9306-462a-9902-2852ccb5a711, True, Comm Manager (10-Button-Glossy) 31ddb480-ea5d-11db-8314-0800200c9a66, True, Dopewars 925604d9-fc70-4424-ad09-670174571d55, True, Esmertec Jbed Java 1a51c944-65ea-41c5-ae3d-f750ecb404e0, True, File Explorer Extension ffffffff-859d-41db-a1d2-bbbdde1be500, True, Google Maps ffffffff-0ea8-4338-ba84-5b883267610e, True, 6.1 WMP Skin 36ebf1ae-3f88-4164-88cd-b17d9f169a69, True, HTC Task Manager cf22fd84-b29c-43fb-8f0c-b0f34addfd92, True, Inbox Menu Extensibility (Mark All As Read/Delete All) ffffffff-ee3c-4a7b-b75c-1e76953fe3df, True, no2chem advanced settings ffffffff-5f62-4df0-9497-bbb6cdb809a6, True, nuePerformance ffffffff-0275-487f-81b4-cb2039e04b5e, True, nuePowerCPL cf98ac92-e866-4d14-a90c-d8ab926e2d18, True, HTC Titan Camera 1ad40d0e-60c5-46a5-a705-2c504b368404, True, HTC Sliding Sound 2f863e61-941d-4fb6-bcdf-35bf606e613a, True, OneNote d83b7202-2af0-4199-af12-d073bc63732f, True, OneNote edc647b8-2893-4c9e-a1c1-a50b4580a4bd, True, Opera_v9_5_Build_2392_QVGA_WWE 7919f0c6-231d-49bf-bf52-10f67696c893, True, Oxios Memory ffffffff-c011-425c-9a82-65772e4d37d4, True, Palringo Vocal IM ffffffff-d024-4e7a-8883-f17b38ec11a3, True, RC Mod ffffffff-1486-4055-8087-bd49d95d4201, True, Skinny Signal Bars 150c8b23-1992-4b99-a7fb-8314fe8cbe8a, True, Samsung Omnia D3D driver 2f55966e-ea6a-11db-8314-0800200c9a66, True, Ilium Software Screen Capture ffffffff-1999-45ed-9ec4-aee487d59269, True, SPB Arctic Blue Calculator Skin 48bd5972-eafe-11db-8314-0800200c9a66, True, BL OSXAqua Keyboard Skin ffffffff-156b-4b4b-97bd-8dc8a43b6917, True, sMMS Picture Mail ffffffff-58e9-4d4b-974c-0499de97e686, True, SprintTV (Titan) 84adafa4-dd3d-4e12-9dd8-3d20107e9193, True, TCPMP f789a2d1-007e-464b-b3f6-c656f0fa1778, True, Cleartype On 2faa9f50-a4d5-4ff6-a9bc-6e4242728dea, True, Live Google Search ffffe941-c8f1-4f7c-8d2f-1c2ecb18469f, True, Menu Sounds fffffffe-ff0a-4539-8faf-b430299318ac, True, Vista Theme ffffffff-d137-40b4-aec2-e7965c4e1d79, True, YouTube Player ffffffff-1af4-49b6-9ae5-c576c566d3fe, True, zsIRC Client e54c0e41-3f65-4d9f-b104-4245cc434a86, True, Additional Ringtones ef780ba2-f5aa-11db-8314-0800200c9a66, True, Additional Themes 9a1d9e85-fe6d-4b49-85ef-3bfc0c797ce1, True, Additional Sounds |

Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
Hi Friends:
I have a SPRINT HTC MOGUL PPC-6800 and it's has dcd 3.3.4 with Radio version: 3.42.50...ok...today...I flashed it with WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen...everything was good during the flashing process...100%...reboot...Numbers in the First Screen and then...ONLY the Second Screen for ever...didn't change to the next screen. I needed to re-flash the dcd 3.3.4 and reboot again normally... What do you recommend me to fix this problem? Thanks TecMan SPRINT HTC MOGUL PPC-6800 SPL-2.40.Olipro ROM version: dcd 3.3.4-Iusacell Carrier: Iusacell-Mexico (Plan Elite-50) Radio version: 3.42.50 Memory Card: 8GB microSDHC |
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick

|
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick

Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
my additions.txt are on page two, if any developers are curious

Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
Just noticed this thread...
Are you guys flashing No2chem, like the OP, ppck bases, or what? If you're flashing a ppck base, try not selecting anything and building. You most likely have an incompatible OEM that is gumming up the works. I also recommend 20931 vs 20924. It can take a bit of time on first boot, so don't be impatient. |
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
thats what im figureing thats why I told hime to try that lol good luck let me know how it works out for you

Post your build status on pastebin.com, and a link to it here. You should try building a completely clean rom first (nothing selected) and verify that works. |

Hi gguruusa:
Thanks for your help...I tied with nueROM_UnifiedKitchen-206-206-spack and with PPCgeeks build 20931 kitchen and I had the same result....the first screen boot and second screen stay for ever. for PPCk, make sure you have run updater and gotten the updates, build a clean rom, flash it, and if it doesn't boot post your build status on pastbin.com and link to it here. |
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
Hi gguruusa:
I followed your recommendations...I done a clean ROM for PPCGeeks Buils 20931 and I could flashing to 100% and boot 100%...worked fine...and then cooked a new ROM with Office Mobile, Comm Manager, AutoRun, Omnia Driver, Camera, NetCF2 & 3.5...and it worked too. Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
tried again with bare config file this time - no go, still same failure to boot.
i am going to try 1 more time, bare, without changing the pagepool size should i uninstall kitchen, then reinstall it and get fresh updates? maybe they're corrupt or something? my hardware has been iffy lately |
Re: Followed all procedures OK - Stuck in boot screen - HELP! Brick
I GOT IT!!!
dont attempt change the pagepool size, keep it at dynamic(4096mb) i also uninstalled BuildOS, erased program files\ppckitchen.org, then reinstalled it just to be safe.. then proceeded with the upgrade process to also be safe. this probably wasnt necessary as the problem was you cant change the pagepool. it works great! edit: Actually seems ive overloaded it a bit.. Does ClearType registry tweak lag the device a lot? ok i got my ideal rom, even with Youtube working! I want to know though, is there a way to get rid of the VideoLoader.dll nag popup that says "Failed to find PIE" because im using that enhanced explorer oem |
