Thanks for that attachment. I am having trouble copying it into \Windows using total commander. I was able to copy the previous one in the thread. I was able to do this before. I also killed the cprog process. what else do i need to kill before doing this?

I also extracted the original tapres.96.dll from the most recent no2chem kitchen which i am running. Its attached.

thanks, that seemed to fix the signal icon. Everything seemed out of whack before this .dll. red x over ev icon even when connected and battery shows always plugged in. I gotta sleep on it an maybe just hard reset. I think it all started with the program installs from the link in the 1st post. Just too many revisions in Windows folder.

I just wanted the BT icon but too curious.
I have attached the original .dll as well as the tapres.96.dll. which were changed by the download link from the 1st post.

Something to work with, anyway.

My aim at this point would be to get back to stock w/out hard reset.

I am feeling a hard reset will be the only way. Too many different versions of files in the Windows DIR.

If you get that the dll file file is not signed. The one's I posted I resigned and tested and work on my Titan so I am not sure which dll you are using. The easiest way to go back to stock is simply delete the dll file/s in the windows directory and reboot. The original one will magically reappear on soft reset and you will have your original icons back. Now for the extra BT icon in the task bar you will need to uninstall the opal dialer and all will be fine.
