MMS Question
Upgraded to 6.1 20748 everything works great just have one problem for some reason when I receive a mms it says message is expired. I can still download it its just annoying for some reason the date is off when it comes to the mms program. Can't find a fix anywhere would appreciate a nudge in the right direction Thanks

Re: MMS Question
There was some problems associated with time/date but were fixed. I am not sure if you cooked in your arcsoft or not, but try to install the verizon arcsoft cab from here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...erizon+arcsoft

Re: MMS Question
I have it cooked in the rom I was hoping there was a registry edit so I didn't have to cook another rom without it and cab install

I didn't even realize it at first as I hardly ever do it, but when I realized it didn't work in a brand new phone it irritated me. One day at work, I was all caught up & had some time on my hands so I called vz tech support. I got a very cool friendly chick on the phone. She tried very hard to be helpful & went back & forth with a couple other techs at her end also. I was on the phone with them for almost an hour & a half but they couldn't resolve it & said they would send me a new phone. I didn't really WANT a new phone as I had spent two weeks adding programs/customizing etc & other than the MMS everything was perfect. I spent quite a while googling the problem & actually fixed it the next day by installing the recommended version of arcsoft & then correcting the server settings etc. When the new phone came, I sent it back. I have three 6800's now, but I still have that original also & it still works great (although it's been re-flashed 50 times etc etc) ~John |
