Re: MMS Question
tried everything with no luck. was on the phone with tech support for about 45 min. even after looking up the settings on one of there test phones, nothing. we tried everything from no lines filed in to all of them with the same results. is there anything i need to look at in espt? maybe thats where the problem is where this used to be an alltel phone.

Re: MMS Question
So what was the problem??

Re: MMS Question
phone was an alltel phone that i flashed to vzn. for some reason under EPST>security the S. IP DUN User name wasnt there. so i punched it in and BINGO. working pic messages. thats why i asked for EPST setting but no one offered. so i called vzn and talked to a tech and asked them to go get a test phone and look it up for me.

Re: MMS Question
well, that was short lived. hate to bring up an old thread but still having issues. now the darn phone keeps forgetting the password. i try to send a text and i get the same UN/PW crap and when i go into the settings it gone even though it was there 5 sec earlier before i tried to send the message. any ideas on why the password wont stick?

Re: MMS Question
I dont see where the OP ever said he got his issue resolved. I also am getting expired error msgs and am using GCs 5.0.70.24, I am going to try my other version I was using which was 5.0.31.16 because I wasnt getting those errors then. I will post back and let you guys know what I get.

Re: MMS Question
ok, so I went back from version 5.0.70.24 to 5.0.31.16 and I no longer get the expired errors. Also the size limit on 5.0.70.24 was 399k whereas on 5.0.31.16 is 600k. So hopefully this will help anyone else out who is getting MMS expiration errors.

Re: MMS Question
Can you actually send a 600k pic?? I can set the file limit size to whatever I want in the registry, but Verizon's server will reject anything above 399k....

Re: MMS Question
idk really bc I usually do MMS pics from the camera and they are only 100-200k or so. But at least im not getting the MMS expired errors.
