TITAN: Tell me how to dump Rom

Hi,

I need to know how to dump titan's Rom, my carrier is Movilnet in Caracas-Venezuela, it's spanish Rom and pre-GPS...so I should dump stock Rom before upgrading to enabled GPS Rom.

I found a Movilnet dumped Rom but I would learn how to dump titan's Rom (extRom, OS Rom and Radio Rom)...Here is the link that I found:

ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/Im...RUU_signed.rar

Thanks to ppcgeeks, ppckitchen and xda-developers, specially thanks to GaMedic, ggurusa, no2chem, A_C and dcd1182.
Thanks to my countrymen Minino and NelsonGruber for your advice to prevent to brick my Titan.

I would recommend that you ask over in XDA as well. DCD and GC are very savvy with these sort of things.

Are you wanting to flash a new ROM? Or look at the core files? There is a tutorial for flashing your phone by GaMedic.

Yes, on last week I read tutorial by GaMedic and this week I was upgrading my Titan but I should dump stock room (Movilnet) to do downgrade for warranty purpose, only if it's neccesary. Of course I'll dump stock ROM of other Titan locked with bootloader, radio an OS nonGPS of Movilnet.

Thanks for your interesting.

Re: TITAN: Tell me how to dump Rom

You only need to run the stock ROM and relock if you take it into the cell store to be serviced.

Re: TITAN: Tell me how to dump Rom

Yeah but I haven't Movilnet stock ROM dumped, Movilnet is not a common carrier on ppcgeeks so I found only one stock ROM of Movilnet and this ROM is not tested.

I like to dump my Movilnet stock ROM to prevent surprise.

Can you help me? ... or show me the way?

Re: TITAN: Tell me how to dump Rom

I did not read GA medics thread on flashing, does it have a rom dump utility listed somewhere in it?

Sorry Jonathan, I am not sure how to dump a ROM either, I will do some searching around a little for you though. A ROM dump utility would be fairly handy I think.

Re: TITAN: Tell me how to dump Rom

he wants to dump his ROM so that in case he has to have it serviced then it wont appear altered. my advice is to get in touch with no2chem and see if he can help you there are also some people in the diamond upgrade sections that know how to dumo the ROM. i know there is a tool to use your microsd to grab the os off the phone but im not sure how to grab the radio or the bootloader.
