Favorite Rom??

Hi, I've never flashed my mogul with a new rom...there are so many and I'm not sure which one I should use..I like having a device with a good performance and memory but I also want some cool stuff..So I'm asking you all, What is your favorite rom that you use and why? Also, what's the memory percentage that you have in use after you soft reset? All of your replies would be very appreciated. :headbang::headbang::headbang::mrgreen:

nueRom3

33mb after reset.

Its super fast. Doesnt have apps built into the rom so youll have to install manually with cab files.

Another option is ppckitchen.org that allows you to choose what programs you want built into the rom. no2chem also makes nueRom3 basekits for the ppckitchen so its a win win.

So what extacly does the page pool control? And is nueom3 pretty bare bones? I mean does it come with like office and some of the basic apps that the latest stock roms come with or will I have to install alot of stuff manually from cabs?

1+ nueRom, it's pretty bare bone, but it does still include wmOffice.

I tend to think of the page pool as a L3 cache or virtual memory

If you build your own ROM with the Basekit, you won't have to install a lot of cab files. That's what I like to do, I can't use precooked ROM's at all anymore, I don't even have cab's for half my programs because I use OEM's :P But, yes, it does have office and the BASIC apps.

On Favorite ROM?

+1 for nueROM3 pre3. Pretty rock solid, lots of free RAM and pagepool changer built in. Still has some stability issues that no2chem is fixing, but overall you can't beat it :D
