no sir, this happened as i was attempting to go back to 20273. i am currently running 20748, however, theres too many dings for me, so i decided to go back. after the updates the other day, thats when i got the welcome center error.

actually i did a manual download of the carriers, Drivers, generic_oem, PPCkitchen, and core all for Titan. to include the 20273 selections.txt

well let me ask you this, is that PPCkitchens_OEM for 20748 ONLY, cause that would be the only thing i see different.

It can be loaded using the SD card with no other changes having to be made. I get great locks with GPS and call signal is great. I wouldn't fool with that radio myself. Big PITA if you ask me for no benefit. Who is your carrier so we can try to help you with your other problems. Give a little detail on your other issues.

My carrier is Alltel and I made sure that I checked everything properly when I selected everything but I don't know where I went wrong

I used no2chem's newest bootloader for the Titan and loaded radio 3.42.50 straight from the memory card. Not a PITA at all, and phone booted right back up just as it was, but with a new radio. By the way, I've noticed a major improvement with GPS, and possibly an improvement with locking onto / switching of towers / not dropping calls when on the highway.

So, in other words, 3.42.50 can be loaded straight from the memory card just like 3.42.40, and it's not a PITA, and from my experience, it may be well worth the upgrade. 3.42.50 is working better for me than any other radio version I've tried yet (including 3.42.40). By the way, my carrier is Sprint, and I'm using ROM Build 20748 from the ppckitchen.org ROM Kitchen.

Coco,

Frequently, I have the same question. Rarely, is there ever an itemized response of changes that don't come directly from the release notes of the manufacturer build.

Not to say that there are not REAL enhancements to these builds, but you have to understand these people here are ---THE--- source of ingenuity concerning smartphone OS rebuilds. Fortunately in our case, they are working with the 6800. They do this any time there is material to work with. They will do it even if there is no described change log. They are possessed, and in a world unto themselves.

I heart them.

So in summary, when you have all your stuff backed up, and have the time, reflash the phone. Take the opportunity to add or remove some stuff of your previous build. If that sounds like a lot of incessant time wasted, just keep checking back until there's something these lunatics are anticipating to release and enhance.

anyone have any ideas as to why my phone is in digital roaming and I can't use my internet? by the way thank you for those who did help me out on the radio bit but now I need to get to the bottom of why when I load this rom with Alltel as my carrier and everything correct, would this rom say my phone is digital roaming. I can't use *228 and I can't use my internet. Like I said in previous posts on this thread I need drastic help and expertise on this matter. I'm familiar with flashing roms but I've never encountered this problem before. Please help out yall, especially you supermods if you can, thanks
