Is anyone else having issues with text messages? For someone reason it doesnt want to open text messages. I can recieve them but when i go to open it, it starts loading and then crashes and goes back to the today screen...also it seems that when i change the text setting in the control panel from threaded to classic it works....any idea?

I switched back to rom 2.1 due to issues with the beta.... I am content once more.

Honestly, I've decided I don't miss my threaded SMS... it makes it much easier for me to find things from previous conversations... the windows mobile SMS search function doesn't work with threaded messaging...

When launching Comm Manager (using the button) I am getting the following message:
The file 'CommManagerLink' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file. Tried unmapping and then remapping the button. Tried mapping it to a different button. Other programs launch using that button. Tried installing the HTC 8 Buttom Comm Manager, didn't work (repeated above steps after installing this). Any ideas?

hey folks really bombed on this one ...... I have fixed some of the mentioned issues like messaging and the comm manager button but I'm closing this project down and moving on to another the new project may be posted later today ......

not a big deal, as good as your ROM's are, I highly doubt this will keep people away. I will be checking back later...and it better work right the first time!
