Upgrading Radio

So I am running Olipro 2.4
I upgraded my Rom to DCD 3.26
But when I run the Rom Update Utility to update my Radio to 3.42.50 it goes to 8 percent then says I can't use that update utility. I was previously running DCD 2.3.2 radio version 3.27. Any suggestions? Do I have to upgrade to 3.35.04 or something before I can go straight to 3.42.5?

Re: Upgrading Radio

Try a SD card flash. Rename the NBH file to TITAIMG.nbh and just stuff it on the storage card and reboot to bootloader mode.

Re: Upgrading Radio

If your doing it through usb you have to have olipro 1.2 unlocker flash the radio then upgrade back to olipro 2.40 and flash the rom.

Re: Upgrading Radio

I reccommend using the 3.42.40 raido. The .50 radio has not been proven to be any better, but with .40 you don't have to flash 1.20 bl the reflash 2.40 bl. Just my opinion.

I'm in exactly the same situation as doggmah. I have Olipro 2.40. Tried the RUU utilitiy and got the same error.

I just tried the SD flash by naming the radio TITAIMG.nbh in root of SD card, going into BL mode (camera) (power) (reset).

I see the Olipro 2.40 boot loader screen with "serial" on the bottom and that's it.

Am I missing a keyboard command or something to get this to work?

Make sure that your SD card is FAT32
Put it in your computer, right click the drive and go to properties, it will most likely say FAT.
Format it with FAT32 selected and then try again, should work.

Re: Upgrading Radio

I put the 4GB SanDisk into a PC, copied the data to the hard drive, formatted to FAT32 and recopied the data.

Go into BL mode, see the same line 1: TITA100 MFG, line 2: SPL-2.40.Olipro, line 3: CPLD-9

Like this:

TITA100 MFG
SPL-2.40.Olipro
CPLD-9

And at the bottom:

Serial

I'm lost. I tried to flash to SPL-2.47.exe via the same SD Card - doesn't work and gives me the SPL-2.07 BL screen. When I reset, the device goes back to SPL 2.40 Olipro and the No2Chem 5066 ROM that I put flashed a month ago.

I'm just trying to upgrade the radio.

Here's what I have now:

ROM: 3.49.NO2.5066
Radio: 3.35.04
PRL version: 51056
PRi version: 1.35_002

Looks like I'll have to downgrade to 1.20 Olipro to use RUU?

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
