It has worked well with live search. So fast and accurate. it is the only time that GPS has placed me on the correct street

try going into the google map settings and filling in the gps info instead of having windows manage it.. put it on com4 and 4800 as the baud rate

Since this requires data transfer, will i be charged only when connecting to gps or the entire time i'm connected to gps?

only when connecting to gps... once u connect to gps you should go to comm manager and close the data connection... hope that helps

Awesome, awesome, awesome! This is one of the best hacks since I flashed a No2Chem rom and a new radio! Plus, no priming the darned GPS chip anymore! Thanks a bunch!

Thanks for the reply. Any idea how much data is transferred? so i can have some sort of idea if my data charge will be significantly higher than before

Confirmed. I just reflashed this pm and everything is hunky dory... except I had to redo the registry changes.

No "Send". Just ##3424 and the screen should change to the DMR screen. If not, just hit an extra #

dayam... this stuff really works! i've been at it all day to test it at different times where i used my phone or it's been on standby for hours but i checked on it every so often and it still keeps giving me a fast (sprint-like) lock! my gf has the titan (mogul) but on sprint and her gps works awesome... now i can proudly say that my titan works as good on verizon thanks to GC!!!
