Sprint Mogul searches when turned on

i just put in a new rom(custom) and like everytime i turn it on i dont get it working as usual, i takes like 10 minutes for it to actually get "signal" and start working, i didnt ave this problem before and i was wondering if anyone has had this problem or if it just me
