i thought there was no significant improvements in this build over 20270?

Re: Titan 20273 Kitchen

Since I did 20270 and somehow left my camera out, I guess I will be trying this tonight when I get home.

AND DAMMIT I had JUST got everything on my phone setup how I wanted it. Now I gotta start all over.

Re: Titan 20273 Kitchen

I installed with a newly built kitchen this morning and called it a sec ago and it picked up the connection alot quicker, the phone I called from rang nearly 2 times instead of the 4 or more that I had previously.

Well, let me rephrase. It should work and run better. However, for a while I didnt think it was worth releasing and enduring the typical release issues for nominal improvements. I figured there would have been another release at some point beyond 20273. However, since I am going on vacation and nothing else has come out, this should do for a week or two.

Re: Titan 20273 Kitchen

Went to flash and for the version it saying wm6.1 build 20270? I downloaded all the updates through updater, why is it still saying 20270?

It says 20273 in the kitchen, but when the RUU comes up it says 20270?

My displays from Setting->About: CE OS 5.2.20270 (Build 20273.1.3.3). I looked through all the new files and foud that "Titan_Core.rar" still has version 20270 dated July-24 from the "manual download" page.

I ran in to problem with HTC Album v1.1.03.720. It said that "HTCAlbum" cannot be opened. If I run Resco Explorer 2008 and keep it opened in the background, HTC Album v1.1.03.720 would run fine. On the second note, the older HTC Album v1.0 works fine.

Hmmm, perhaps you didn't get the correct Titan_Core. Can you check in there in the ROM folder to see if there is a Titan_20273.xip?

Re: Titan 20273 Kitchen

Is there a problem with the new PPCGeeks_OEM file? It doesn't appear that the updater grabbed it, and I don't see the file listed in the manual downloads on the ppckitchen site.

I just download "titan_core.rar" again from the web dated 7/24/08. The XIP folder have "titan.20262.bin, 20270.bin" 20273 xip is no where to be found. Every other 20273 related rar files have 8/26/08 date.

it seems like some of the titan files are off the ppckitchen server currently resulting in updater not working properly

colonel,

Please tell me you're gonna have a look at the new Verizon update before taking off for vacation. Is there anything worth ripping out of it? Build number?

I updated my Titan this morning with 20273 and my GPS no longer works. I am using the latest radio, and I used the GPS not 30 mins before I updated. After the update, it doesn't even recognize the GPS on Port 5..

Did 20273 include any GPS updates?

I should add I was previously using 20270.

Since I had to have my Mogul replaced by Sprint twice last week I am on build 19208 but have ROM 3.56.651 with radio 3.42.50 and PRL 60613.
Can someone point out some the major differences between 19208 and 20273?

Muchly appreciated,

Download updater manually, as the automatic update failed for you. Directions are in post #1 and on PPCKitchen.org.

Thanks. There's a typo in your first post, so the url is listed as ppckithen.org, missing the "c".

Do you know if the new ppcgeeks_oem.rar will be posted soon. I deleted all my old stuff and need that rar to get going again. Thanks so much..
